Stayed here 3 nights, loved it! Room was a bit small, but ensuite bath (not in all rooms, btw) helped. Comfortable bed, great view. Breakfast standard continental but staff very friendly. Walking distance to all kinds of wonderful areas (be prepared to climb stairs up...More
Stayed here with my 2 children for 4 nights. The hotel is old, using the old style keys and elevator. The rooms are big enough, very high ceilings and beautiful too. If you like the night life in Bairro Alto, this place is perfect. Its...More
We booked a room with a double bed and shared bathroom. We got a room with twin beds and the bathroom was shared by 11 rooms... The bathroom in our floor was in need of some renovation (I used the bathroom on the 2nd floor...More
For the price, this hotel delivers everything you would expect. The rooms are big and clean, and as this hotel is set in a old-style Lisbon apartment, the ceilings are high vaulted and most rooms come with floor to (almost) ceiling windows. As it isn't...More
Close enough to the city center and lovely little bars and restaurants nearby. Room was small but nice, very clean bathroom and we even had a little balcony. Breakfast was modest but quite enough for us. Staff was very helpful and spoke good English.

Bairro Alto, Bica & Cais do Sodre
Enjoy a cocktail, discover a jazz club, hit the dance floor or simply grab a beer and catch up with your friends in the street: Bairro Alto, Bica and Cais do Sodré are the core of it all. Amazing rooftops, restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries, museums and theaters abound. Start off by admiring the river from the Santa Catarina belvedere, have a cocktail at PARK's rooftop bar, try a typical Portuguese steak, or
the fresh grilled fish, at Príncipe do Calhariz, and later explore the dozens of streets full of bars and clubs! Whether you're visiting for a day or a whole week, make sure you visit Bairro Alto and its surroundings.

Hello, there is no shuttle service. We took subway from the airport, red line (Vm), at Saldanha station we switched to yellow line (Am) to Rato station, where we got off and then walked about 15 minutes to the hotel along Rua da Escola Politecnica which later changes the name to Rua Dom Pedro V., but it is still the same street, you do not need to take any turn, just go straight forward. The subway was quite cheap, if I remember well it was around 1,75-2,50 euro per person (but I don't remember it exactly, this is just my guess). Entire journey, incl. the walking part, took about 45 minutes. Although I have never been in Lisbon before, the orientation in subway was quite easy, there are signs and information everywhere.
