The Lisbonaire is a great central location, only a few minutes walk to the bustling Rossi’s Square and near a Metro station. The apartments are clean, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. We stayed with our two children, aged 9 & 11, and there was plenty...More
Furniture quality was excellent, clean, quiet, low in price, easy to find, close to main attractions, I will sure visit it again when in Lisbon. The only thing was difficult is carrying bags to 3rd floor because the elevator only stops at 2nd floor but...More
The place was just refurbished, with a nice architecture, doors, decoration. It is a "self-service" hotel, with few employees and without any food support. There is a freedge on the basement, with Coke, water and beer. You can have them and deposit the money in...More

The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used
to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
