I had a 5 night stay at this hotel and enjoyed every day. A small hotel close to the station and beaches and is very careful with cleanliness.. reassuring at a time like this. The staff are friendly and helpful and wore masks at all times and made sure guests did the same. My room was bright, well-equipped & spotless & the maid service excellent. It had a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was okay but I think hard boiled eggs could have been served without the kitchen being too involved – which the waitress said they were trying to avoid. Otherwise, the service was cheerful and food ok, if a bit repetitive. In the evening there was a nice bar which served super snacks. All told a happy experience. And keeping guests safe was a priority. A short walk downhill are restaurants, a church and the beach. There is a pretty garden in front of the casino. And a train takes one to Lisbon in approx 45 minutes each way and is a pleasant ride along the waterside. Not expensive either. Walking back to the hotel from the station is a bit of a hike but not really too bad. I would be quite happy to return and stay at the Londres in Estoril on another visit here as I was really well cared for by all the friendly and happy staff especially Catherina & Nuno. Also happy to recommend it to friends. I really enjoyed my stay. (PS: One small word to the manager: please could you put a soap dish beside the basin tap to stop the soap getting wet and soggy. Even a cheap plastic one will do)

I emailed before booking around COVID regulations and got a clear and quick response and also confirmation of my bed preference was straight back. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised with an early check in at 12.30 and a welcome drink from the bar.
The standard double room was spacious with lots of wardrobe space, fridge and good aircon. On the downside the bathroom was a little tired and probably in need of a refresh. The shower especially with a hand held hose. Also there was no tea or coffee in room so you had to buy it at the bar. My room was facing the road so there was a little bit of traffic noise.
There is a nice pool and garden area which when I stayed at the end of August was never busy and you always had a choice of loungers. The hotel bar has a nice terrace seating area over looking the pool ideal for a couple of drinks late afternoon. The bar staff were really nice. In fact all the staff were helpful including reception printing off some documents I needed for my flight home. Also storing my luggage after I checked out.
Breakfast was buffet style and was quite busy sometimes running out of items but it had all the basics.
The location is perfect with only a 5 min walk downhill to the beach. There is a small supermarket around the corner for any essentials and an ATM across the road. The 418 bus that goes directly to Sintra stops also just around the corner and takes 45 mins. (I highly recommend visiting).
In summary it was a nice stay and if looking to stay in Estoril near the beach then this is perfect.

Very nice hotel in a good location, The rooms were big but lacked a simple and important amenity such as a hot water kettle and coffee and tea in the room. It had a refrigerator.
The Breakfast buffet was good with a variety, open between 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Parking facilities are street parking between 5 PM to 9AM but there is free parking close by. Front desk is friendly and helpful.I would recommend this hotel and stay here in the future.

Although Estoril was our third choice having switched from Spain to Croatia to Portugal due to covid, we were more than delighted to get here. We found all the staff to be friendlier than anywhere we've been recently. Location is good - the lovely sea walk to Cascais and it's many restaurants is more like 30 mins though. Covid - you have to choose your breakfast slot but no restrictions for pool use. Would have been 5/5 but for the fact the we paid extra for a view that was of a back of a house. A few tips - 5 euro return on the train to Lisboa and 4.50 euro return to Sintra on the bus, just a minute around the corner. Would choose Sintra over Lisboa if short on time. For eating out the italian next door was probably our favourite excellent risottos and cheap portuguese wines esp Alentejo. Craft beer lovers will enjoy the Beer Deck down the hill on the way to the casino and the hotel bar offers bottled stout. Finally small shop up the hill great price for local wines!

Just an overall nice experience while I attended my friends wedding in Estoril.
Pleasant hotel, with nice receptionists. The hotel was a very quality 3 star in a great location. A glass of wine at the bar was 2 euros 60 cents , and I must say this made my heart rejoice. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Spent a week here whilst looking around Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Rooms reminded us a bit of a Premier Inn (which is not a criticism) , they are nothing flash but comfortable, plenty of space to lay out two large suitcases and for once a bathroom with enough flat surfaces to put everything on. Everything in the hotel was kept clean and tidy by the wonderful staff. There's a reasonable sized swimming pool, which we used most days and never had any problem finding a subbed. Pool towels are available from the hotel. There's none of the sticking towels down at 6 AM nonsense. Buffet breakfast was good, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, but there is a mini fridge. We brought our own kettle and cups and that worked well. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, would happily return. The hotel itself is in a good location, a short walk to the promenade and train station. However, for those less mobile it is up a little hill, as are most of the places in Estoril. There's a good Pizza /Pasta restaurant almost next door and a few more within walking distance. Cascais is a 4€ taxi ride away and that has a central area with lots of easily accessed restaurants . One tip not directly related to the Hotel is that Uber taxis work really well and are cheap in the Lisbon area. We were going to take the train from the airport to hotel but an Uber was around €26

Very clean hotel and pool. Well maintained.
Every person working here is genuinely nice and friendly. All you have to do is say hello!
Compared to home; speed is not a necessity of service. Be aware of that. But it does add to the very relaxing ambience the hotel provides.

Very nice lounge music in the bar and on the balcony overlooking the pool.
We had lunch several times. It’s very reasonably priced for food and drinks. €5 for a good hamburger and 5.50 for a top quality cocktail. Ana and Hugo were great.

Breakfast has plenty of fruits, breads, ham, cheese; lovely coffee and orange juice. Self service but it’s easy to manoeuvre. Henrique ( I think that’s his name) was very friendly and helpful; as were all the staff.

The pool area has all you would need. It’s very clean and well maintained.

The rooms are lovely.
Very clean with very comfortable beds. Aircon if needed but we just left the balcony door open at night.

The hotel is 5 minutes from estoril train etc; and there is a beautiful promenade with restaurants.
You can have a lovely walk (1/2 hour) to Cascais where there is some lovely shops and restaurants.
There is an Aquafun park there also which is great for kids and big kids alike. €10 for an hour.

The train to Lisbon (50 minutes) from Estoril cost €23 return for the 5 of us. It’s a lovely journey and again, everyone very helpful.

All in all; I would highly recommend Hotel Londres.

On first impressions reception staff where lovely.
Bedrooms are a Mix of new and old
All needs a bit of tic.
Pool was freezing which was a big disappointment as we had our six year old with us. No pool towels.
No tea or coffee in room.

Breakfast well that was just awful
No fresh bread or croissants
No hot foods
No cereals.
Plain yogurts
Nothing was fresh at all.
Oh yes orange juice in the machine was disgusting
This hotel should be ashamed of what they put out.
Considering the hotel was not full it was awful.
Give it a miss and pay more to stay at the radisson.

Just back from a very chilled week at Hotel Londres with my husband. This is the second year visiting this hotel. It is good value for money - it’s close to everything - about 200m to the closest beach and c1.5km into the main town. We didn’t hang by the pool but visited local beaches each day although the pool area is very nice.
The hotel is very clean and has everything you need. The hotel is basic but good. I would definetly recommend. Just something to be mindful of when booking it is at the top of a steep hill and could be difficult going up and down with a buggy etc.

Given the hotel official rank (three stars), there's barely a lot of reasons to complain about the stay. The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was clean and (at least mine) had a big balcony. More space for sitting (especially if a room was occupied by two people) would definitely make a difference since one tiny desk with just one chair to it might not always be sufficient.
The location of the hotel is also fairly comfortable for various visitors. A 10 minutes walk up the street from the train/bus station (estacao Estoril) might appear a little tiresome, but it is really doable unless walking presents a serious problem for you.
A nice add-up is the inner swimming pool and a nice hotel bar that both can be (even simultaneously...) taken advantage of...

You can get a local bus from the airport to the main railway station. You then buy a ticket to Estoril, & they are very cheap. You then go through the gates to the playform, & there's always plenty of staff to help if you're not sure which platform. It's approx 1hr to the main Estoril station. When you get off the train, although its not far to Hotel Londres, it is an uphill walk, so if you have luggage, you might like to grab a taxi.
