This hotel is very well situated for exploring the old town and is close to many cafes and restaurants. It is clean and very well maintained and the staff was very helpful with any inquiry. The shower is pretty small and the rooms are spare but if you want to be close to the action you won't beat it for...

Perfectly situated close to the heart of old town, university, etc., clean, comfortable and staffed by warm and helpful folks. Parking provided for a nominal charge--all good! Large room relative to other places we stayed at in Portugal.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The central location was perfect for us and we never needed the car. We loved the front desk ladies: Beatrice and Thelma, who were always ready to help. Breakfast was adequate. I think we'll be back next year if we go to Coimbra!

A lovely place to stay with a good restaurant and great service! They were very welcoming and breakfast is included with the reasonable price. Lots of choice for the breakfast and it is near the train station!!

As others have already stated it is clean and well located. There are many choices in this small town. The room was fine but really on the order of a motel 6. Towels appear to be air dried as they are really rough (and small). We didn't find the bed very comfortable and the pillows were awful. I really wouldn't...

Very pleasant and convenient hotel, with friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Would definitely stay again and longer next time! From the hotel it is a short walk up the hill to the university and interesting places to eat, as well as shops and the Casa do Fado. The hotel also has a well-regarded restaurant,...

This was a value for money hotel, with clean rooms, and good accessibility to the old town. The staff were very helpful and despite a fairly basic breakfast, we had an enjoyable stay. I've heard the rooms can be noisy but we stayed in the newer part of the hotel, which may make a difference.

This is a real find in a beautiful city. Superior renovations, beds, staff make this an oasis for any stay in Coimbra. Within walking distance of pedestrian walkway and great price for a clean, modern room. We are seniors and walking the city was easy with our Nordic walking poles. Also, an elevator operates near the City market,to take you...

Very good value for the price. Attractive and clean hotel ear the riverfront. Front desk staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet nice but not exceptional. Did not have dinner in the restaurant. Room had a good view of the university. Comfortable bed. Room had only one chair, which was a minor problem in the evenings. Only significant concern was...
