Lovely stay

Stayed 1 night at the hotel, very modern and very nice. Pianist playing in the evening in the lobby was a lovely touch. Room was lovely, bed comfortable and staff were very nice. Great location at the end of the canal and easy walk along the canal past all the shops to the ‘old town’. …

A gem in a cube

First time in Aveiro for business with a big group. Melia Ria was the hotel who did offer not only the best price (for meetings and conference package) but also the service and quality which made our stay memorable. The understanding, flexibility and kindness of the people working in this hotel made every moment spent in this hotel precious. And last but not least, I would like to highlight the very young chef who makes dishes to lick your fingers!! Literally!! Thank you all for a great week at Melia Ria! …

A very good business hotel

Very good hotel for a business stay. Quiet rooms, good breakfast, nice spa. Restaurant is simple , buffet is godd with tasteful dishes. Location is convenient for a stroll to historic Aveiro, and very close to highway.

Very well equipped

Great gym, I think it was the best gym in any hotel I had been in during my 3 week Portugal tour! I do love a good gym. It’s a good hotel, it does everything it says on the tin. The breakfast was vast, the spa was very relaxing and a pleasure to visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little corporate in a way, but I have no complaints at all. If you are visiting Aveiro for a couple of days, or however long I think this is a decent place to stay. Just make sure that you go to costa nova beach when you are there, it’s beautiful!…

Good as usual

I am staying here each time when I am in Aveiro. The service is very friendly, so checking in and out runs smoothly. Rooms are well sized, usually quiet and clean. The breakfast offers a great selection of food.
