We spent 9 nights at this hotel in early March. There is daily maid service and the rooms are spotless. The beds are comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the staff in the breakfast room are very friendly. It's true the walls are thin and you sometimes hear the t.v. in another room but we had no trouble sleeping...

We rented a car to explore the island & this hotel had free parking, which was partly the reason we chose it.The location is very central to the restaurants & we walked to a different one every night. It was also a good base to set off from when exploring the rest of the island. The rooms were basic, which...

We had a great experience at the Residencial Sete Cidades! The staff went abive and beyond. We flew in early in the day and they gave us a temp room to shower and rest until our actual room was ready. Not only that, but they helped out with every aspect of our stay, whether it was booking tours, making dinner...

I went one week in Ponta Delgada and stayed at Recidencial Sete Cidades. The Recidencial is a short walk to town and marina as well as the botanical parks. Next door there is a bakery opened almost 24/7. Minimarkets, bars, cafes and shops are not far. The Recidencial offers simple and daily cleaned accommodation and 24/7 reception. My room was...

Family of 4 adults so 2 double rooms booked for 3 nights. Location of hotel was very good, 5-10 minute walk into town. Front of house staff very helpful, remainder we came across just didn't appear to want to be there. Breakfast was the worst we have experienced in any hotel we've stayed in for 20 years plus. Rooms were...

The location is great for the centre of Ponte Delgado. There's not much else going for this hotel. Rooms are outdated. Breakfast is at best chaotic and at worst second rate. And this is the main thing ; because there's no air con in the rooms you have to sleep with the windows open. But the noise from the street...

Small reception area as you enter from the street, friendly & helpful staff. Stairs and lift located up 3 or 4 steps just off Reception. Quiet basic room, with TV and wifi, at the rear overlooking a low building and the carpark. Curtains and roller blind, unfortunately the roller blind did not operate properly but we were able to roll...

Very nice place to stay, very friendly staff. We stayed in a basic room with a balcony, with a view of the street. Nice clean room, with the door closed we couldn't hear any noise from the steer. It's just a 5 min walk to the docks. Berry nice. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Being fair, this is a great location- a 5 minute walk from the central part of the city--but the mattresses are awful, the rooms decorated from yard sales, and the noise levels are disruptive. What should have been a restful vacation was interrupted by barking dogs, squeaking wheeled carts and yelling wives... This place should be a great deal-- but...

We arrived on a late flight from the UK and were glad that the hotel was only a short taxi ride from the airport. The fare was just 10 euros. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist. We had requested a quiet room, so we were given a twin room at the rear of the hotel, overlooking the car...
