If you're looking for a relaxing break for a weekend or even a week, this is the perfect base camp to explore the Algarve from. We stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. Advantages are: Its within 5 minutes drive of the main east-west route of the Algarve, so its easy to get to the west coast...

We have just spent seven nights in this amazing house. Casa Das Oliveiras is owned and managed by Bill and his wife Isa. They are the most welcoming and obliging hosts we have yet to meet. They will gladly offer advice regarding places to visit and recommend fantastic restaurants. The house is situated in a very peaceful rural area. The...

Stayed for 3 nights and was impressed with its cleanliness and the warm hospitality. A fine base to explore the Algarve for couples and the photos on their website are very accurate. No AC, but fans are in all the rooms. It really does feel like staying in the heart of the real rural Algarve with friends, away from the...

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed getting away from the major tourist cetnres. While it is rurally situated, it is within easy driving to Silves, Logoa, Porches and the coast with its magnificent beaches. It was a great spot from which to do some exploring of the area by car. The hosts were great and very informative....

It was the second time I had stayed at Casa das Oliveiras, once in winter, this time in June, both times just for one night whilst in the Algarve on business. I'll definitely go back. You need a car. It's quite rural, but takes only minutes to get to Silves and on to the motorway, and is very well placed...

It was spotless, spacious and you could come and go as you pleased. Breakfast was tasty and as light or hearty as you wished. We wanted to explore and get away from...

We visited Casa das Oliveras and really were so happy with the whole experience. The room was great, comfy bed and very clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We often stay in similar kind of accommodation and this is the first time we decided to write a review as it would be a shame if others didn't know...

We visited Casa Das Oliveiras in August 2009 looking to really relax and recharge the batteries after a busy year. We chose the perfect place: quiet, comfortable and unaffected by any of the crowds associated with the Algarve in the height of summer. We had a large double room, which was perfectly comfortable (indeed, an actual double bed – a...

Casa das Oliveiras is a wonderful guest house and an ideal place to stay to explore the Algarve, especially if you like being away from the bustle of coastal resorts but still within easy reach of excellent beaches, restaurants and sports venues. We have stayed there 3 times over the last 4 years and would thoroughly recommend it for the...

We had a spacious room with ensuite facilities, facing directly onto the terrace and swimming pool. Good breakfast served on the terrace. Service is very attentive, with useful advice on places to see and good recommendations for eating out. Fridge and basic cooking facilities available in the guests' lounge. We stayed for a week and visited somewhere different everyday -...
