Firstly the location is excellent, right in the middle of the car free older part of Lagos. The owner or designer of this hotel has really never left the Seventies. Colour schemes border on psychedelic. Our room was probably typical with mixed colours and objects. It was clean and comfortable with great views of the old town from our window....

A week here and a lovely stay it was. The rooms was large, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and eager to help in any way. A lovely rooftop terrace with views over the town and sea. Make sure you have breakfast, great selection of fruits, cheeses, meats and eggs to order.

The location is good - walking distance to everything. Rooms were clean and staff friendly! The breakfast was good. Rooftop view was fantastic. It was a little cool the day we were there but still spent sometime up on terrace. Pool is small but would be great for a quick cool off.

One we found the Inn Seventies (needed to park the car and walk into square), we were greeted with enthusiasm, Our room was large, clean, and had our own terrace. A fridge, microwave, etc. was provided. Breakfast was over the top. Eggs to order, and so much fresh fruit, yogurt, breads. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the sea....

We were able to stay here in January - great rates (although the breakfast was not available this time of year - no problem, plenty of restaurants nearby), wonderful location (in a small town, near beaches, and the coast road), funky decor (just as the name implies, nice rooms, plenty of space, kitchen). All in all, a nice place to...

Not luxurious but centrally located in Lagos historic centre. Lots of restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dining table and chairs, kettle, coffee maker, plates, cups etc included. Perhaps a bit noisy at night.. Breakfast was good: range of fresh fruit, yogurts, bread, cheese and ham, cereals (plus soya milk), delicious cakes....

The comments on the reviews on this hotel seem to me to be quite accurate, but despite some negative points we loved our stay here. The pluses are the central location right in the middle of the town, the free car parking in the underground d municipal car park near by, the large rooms and hot showers, with team making...

We had a great stay! The location is perfect, close to restaurants, bars and the beach! The terrase was enjoyable with a great view! The "pool" is not deep enough to swim in but still nice to put your feet in! We went before the busy season so breakfast was not served but had a very lovely stay! Definitely recommend.

As on several previous trips, the Innseventies is fantastically located, overlooking the central square in Lagos old town. The impression however, that this is an hotel in decline, comes from the lack of staff in attendance and the fact that without notice, they no longer serve breakfast, outside the high season. Several guests struggled to gain access to the property...

I've booked this hotel via booking.com for 30-7.07.16 stay with free cancellation a week before arrival. For some reason I was charged (charged and not put on hold!) 59 euros from my debit card already on 06.04.16. 2.5 months before our arrival date. Why have they charged me in the first place?! When they returned the money I still lost...
