I can only echo what every other review has said - from beginning to end our stay here was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the owners and staff are very kind, and it's location near Lagos made for a quick trip to beaches and the city center. Would highly recommend and can't wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful time. Our only regret is that we did not take a day to relax at the beautiful pool and grounds. Pedro - the manager - was very helpful. He arranged a kayak tour for us and he is an excellent cook. He will cook a hot breakfast if you desire. Our room had an ocean view...

We were coming to the Algarve and hadn't made reservations. A friend recommended Quinta Bonita in Lagos and it turned out to be a very pleasant relaxing stay. Small and family run they pay attention to details and are all very helpful. Excellent breakfast , nice rooms and a beautiful setting.

My wife and I (Canadian and in our mid 30s) recently took a road trip through Portugal staying in Lisbon, Evora, Lagos, and the Alentejo Coast near Vila Nova De Milfontes for 3 nights each. All the places we stayed at were small boutique hotels in the same price range so we believe we’re able to make comparisons between our...

Just retunred from Portugal a week ago and by far the best accomdations of our trip were Quinta Bonita. Sure this lovely 9 room quinta was a little more pricey than our other locations, but without a doubt well worth it. And bottom line - for an oasis like this it was definitely worth the few extra dollars and still...

We spent a delightful week at Quinta Bonita this month. Chantelle and Fraser are the perfect hosts and as has been mentioned by other reviews this really is like home from home. The gardens are a delight having been developed over some 40 years. I would recommend a sea view room and is well worth the additional cost. Breakfast on...

A Breathtaking piece of land. The rooms are a very good size with ALOT of closet space. It has 9 rooms with some magnificent views & private bathrooms. Beautiful eating areas both inside & out. Beautiful areas to sit & relax both indoors as well as outdoors. There is also tea & snacks at 4:30 pm. Lovely pool & gardens....

Quinta Bonita is situated back from the coastal development but with winning views from it's elevated position. It has a friendly house party atmosphere with an opportunity to meet fellow travelers, but with secluded spaces in which to lose oneself in reflection or a good book, on terraces and corners of an extensive and beautiful Mediterranean garden. Quinta Bonita's hosts,...

Coming from the U.S. west coast, it was a very, very long trip to get here-- nearly 20 hours of cramped flights and several layovers, followed by a 3 hour drive from Lisbon. And I can't wait to go back! The best way to describe it is a garden retreat with exceptional, personal attention to guests. Our experience was identical...

What a find!! We recently stayed here for eight nights on our latest visit to Lagos, having previously stayed in another small hotel on the other side of town. We wanted a change and found the QB on the internet and read the reports. All were favourable, so we booked in. We were not disappointed! This is peaceful relaxation in...
