Stayed for three nights in a very cool and quiet room with seaview and breakfast. Though the hotel is, probably, the most central in Lagos it was very quiet, nice staff and very clean. The breakfast was affordable and okay. Do recommend!

I have visited Mar Azul many times. I enjoyed the super friendly staff taking excellent care of our stay. If it is not crowded in May, June or September, ask for the balcony room at the street side and enjoy the breakfast while watching Lagos awaking in the morning!

This is a two star hotel just in the mainstreet of Lagos. You can walk directly up a terrace or in to a shop. The owner is friendly and the rooms are clean. Excellent wifi (free of charge). We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, because there are man options outside the hotel. We'll be back!

We had a great time at this hotel. The location was perfect and our room was clean and comfortable ... We especially enjoyed our little balcony overlooking the waterway. The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel. GREAT price for a wonderful little hotel.

Basic hotel in the centre of the old town of Lagos. Rooms small but very comfortable beds. Good sized bathroom with great shower. Breakfast below average. I wouldn't recommend it. Same every day - croissants, toast, ham, cheese, orange "juice".... better value to go to one of the local restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this...

+ Excellent location in pedestrian area. Friendly and helpful management. Bathroom fittings, lights and electrical outlets all modern. Strong WiFi signal. Seaview from small balcony. A/C with heating function works well. Window with both curtains and motorized blinds. - Very small rooms. Almost no furniture in the room. You need to live out of your suitcases. Breakfast is not included...

Have a room with ocean view and beautiful sunrise worth extra cost. Room and bathroom are very clean. Quiet (due to off season maybe ?). Excellent location. Man at reception great. Only remark: room's wall could have some decorations (painting or picture).

I stayed here in October and was really impressed. It was a level or two above, in all regards, what i was expected for the price. Spotless, extremely comfortable, beautifully renovated room, a nice relaxing shared area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. One woman a little off putting, but i think it was over caffeination... Great location, splurged...
