Booked on the recommendation of a colleague. The Stay is well located in the centre of town. It has a modern minimalist approach, and while not cosy it is nevertheless pleasant and reasonably well equipped.

Nice enough basic hotel in a good location. We used it for a stop over as we had an earlyish flight. Ideally situated, lovely staff, a bit of traffic noise and a rattly AC unit but at the low price what can you expect.

A taxi will get you to the airport quickly. You can ask the hotel reception to order one for you. From memory, the trip to Faro airport takes 15-20 minutes and costs around €15. (It would be the same from anywhere in central Faro.)
If you are driving yourself, the route is simple and well signposted once you're out of the city centre. Driving through the city is not too hard either, though you'd need to consult a map first to make sure you were heading in the right direction.
