Stayed here recently as needed to be near to Faro hospital. I found the location and staff to be excellent. It is a room only offering so people downgrading the accommodation should pay more and not expect more than what is clearly offered. The room was very clean and I would definitely return.

This charming, family run pension is centrally located, close to the bus station and the marina. Numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. There really is a great deal to see and do in the historic old town of Faro! The rooms are small, clean, and simply decorated, but most have flat screen tv and private bath....

Residencial A Doca has a good location, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable and clean room. Good access to the old town. Good value for money. Air con was effective. Poor WiFi. Good base but not somewhere to spend a lot of time.

I kept my key, went to the beach. When back half of my money was missing, 150 euros. Already the previous money I had a doubt that some money was gone. Management says they not responsible. The door was locked, window was closed, room on the second floor. It sounds like an "inside" job. As I wasn't feeling safe anymore...

The staff is really nice and helpful and the room was clean but the building is quite old. There was no shampoo just two little soaps. The wifi is not working properly. The hotel is really close to the old centre. I would say that for one night it is ok probably it suits the price you pay but if...

We arrived at the airport, got the local bus (16) and easily found A Doca close by. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The rooms have everything you need but no luxuries but for the price it was very good value. The location was good for seeing Faro and catching local transport to nearby areas. The air con great...

The hostel was nice for one night, and the location is perfect. But it seems quite expensive for the confort and the quality of the room.

A centrally located hotel with free internet access in lounge area. Room was pleasant but bathroom was like an obstacle course. The place had some general noise during the day from outside which is to be expected but after dark and through the night it became like a bizarre nightmare in the streets outside. Clubbers and drunks howling, shouting, singing....

Right in the middle of the town, easy to walk everywhere (even from the train station). The room was simple and just 4 channels on the TV, but ok for an overnight. The taxi to the airport takes 2 minutes to arrive at the hotel and around 10 minutes to get to the airport.

Really lovely place, you couldnt beat the location (and price) - its just in the centre with cafes, restaurants and shops, short walk from the marine, "old town" and bus/train station. However it is not located directly on the main street so no tourists walking under the window. Its very safe place especially for solo travellers. My room and bathroom...
