I gave this hotel 3 stars purely on location and front desk staff The staff manning the desk throughout the holiday were brilliant , Very Friendly our group got on well with them and we even meet for a drink one of the nights. The location is perfect , it is on a hill but 30 seconds of a walk...

We stayed here for a week in March and a had a lovely time. The hotel is situated on a steep hill, which could put people off. It will only take you 2 minutes to get to the main square though. The maids came in every day, tidied the room, made the beds and left fresh towels. The reception staff...

Checked into the hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly. Got up to our non-smoking room and we were immediately hit with a disgusting smell of stale cigarettes. I cannot describe how awful this was as it was quite warm. The rooms were basic, not cleaned very well. We tried to stay out as much as possible, only returning...

Very simple but spotlessly clean little hotel. The simplicity of this hotel reminds me of the hotels I have stayed in in the Greek islands. Plain whitewashed walls, tiled floor, hard bed (suits me with my bad back). However a few welcome extras are included - mini fridge, kettle etc. The hair dryer isn't much good for folically challenged me...

We stayed here for five nights in room 41 on the top/fourth floor. Freshly decorated for the new season, as the smell of paint was still quite strong. Overall a good experience and the hotel was literally 2 mins walk from the main plaza. Couple of minor negative points, two of the three plug points in the room didn't work,...

Have just come to the end of a one week stay at this hotel.....and would certainly come again. Position wise it's perfect...100 yards approx to the lovely old town in Albufeira...as many shops, bars and eateries as you could posssibly want in a really nice setting...with none of the brashness of the new town. 5 minutes walk to the most...

We have just returned after 8 nights and I would certainly return. The hotel was in a perfect location and yet quiet at night. A small hill might be a problem for some people but it really didn't bother us. Within minutes you were in the center of everything, a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The staff were...

One word to describe the hotel - dated. Arrived 9th October for ten days. Read some of the reviews on here so didn't know what to expect. On arrival, we were checked in by Eugenie. She took a copy of our passports and gave us our room keys. Had a safe for the duration which was 1.50 per day and...

reviewed this in june and stayed 4 days 9-12th oct 16 - again great stay and would book again - ideal location in old town 5 mins walk to beach yes on a hill but town itself has loads of hills and cobbled streets (not wheel chair/mobility friendly) quaint and certainly charming compared to the strip! - we had room...

The old adage of you get what you pay for is true with this hotel. Ii is a great location close to the old town square and also the beach. The key entry system is hit and miss we had to change ours twice rooms were small but you don't choose this hotel for the quality of the room. The...
