We have just returned after 8 nights and I would certainly return. The hotel was in a perfect location and yet quiet at night. A small hill might be a problem for some people but it really didn't bother us. Within minutes you were in the center of everything, a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The staff were...

One word to describe the hotel - dated. Arrived 9th October for ten days. Read some of the reviews on here so didn't know what to expect. On arrival, we were checked in by Eugenie. She took a copy of our passports and gave us our room keys. Had a safe for the duration which was 1.50 per day and...

reviewed this in june and stayed 4 days 9-12th oct 16 - again great stay and would book again - ideal location in old town 5 mins walk to beach yes on a hill but town itself has loads of hills and cobbled streets (not wheel chair/mobility friendly) quaint and certainly charming compared to the strip! - we had room...

The old adage of you get what you pay for is true with this hotel. Ii is a great location close to the old town square and also the beach. The key entry system is hit and miss we had to change ours twice rooms were small but you don't choose this hotel for the quality of the room. The...

Stayed here for a week in early Oct. After reading the reviews on here beforehand I knew pretty much what to expect. It's not flash and doesn't have all the luxuries some may like but it doesn't try to be flash. It's a fantastic base to explore the old town being a short stroll from the main square and a...

Having read some not so good reviews we were a bit nervous about booking the Colina do mar but there are always people that hate a place when others love it and you really need to make up your own mind. With this hotel you get a no frills stay , its 3*, so dont expect 5*. Having said that...

The hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable, breakfasts were ok. Staff were friendly until I needed help. Near the end of my holiday I was walking back to the hotel from the strip late at night when I was mugged and had my hand bag stollen. I got back to the hotel to see that the night porter...

Have just returned from a week here.. the hotel was ideal for the location, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels every time. Staff were very friendly. Only had the breakfast once, but a very good selection. Our biggest downfall was that we had no balcony. Beds really comfortable

Good value for money. Bedroom cleaned everyday with new towels. Lovely roof top swimming pool with all day sunshine plus seating area; always space. Helpful staff. Good location as not too far from centre but away from lot of noise.

I came here for a six day holiday. Ive visited Albufeira several times and love the old town. First time at this hotel. We were not disappointed. It so close to the Square but surprisingly quiet. Our room on the second floor had a tiny but adequate balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned every day...
