Myself and husband stayed at this hotel for 1week 29th August .first impression not bad ,we had a helpful receptionist who checked us in quick and gave us room key even though it was on midday ,room not bad ,safe ,fridge although we didn't use it bathroom was quite impressive with lovely shower although no hairdryer on wall ,hotel a little dated needs a makeover next meals ,breakfast not too bad scrambled eggs bacon ,sausage mushroom's everyday including continental breakfast ,now dinner its the worst hotel we have stayed in for evening meal it was terrible we arnt fussy eaters but we struggled to find anything to eat the soup was cold every night for a week there was fish full of bones ,some sort of beef stew and some sort of mash with cabbage nothing was named so we didn't know what we were eating. Potato chips a couple of times and some sort of desert we hardly ate anything everyone was complaining then the pool we could not use for the first 5\ days it was filthy was there complaints yes will we stay here again no chance it is not a 3,star hotel but a lucky 2…
I AM not a fussy person but I do have a limit and being sick because of dinner is it! Currently staying at this hotel half board and food makes you sick hotel old and dirty ONLY thing worth while is staff.
Pros: friendly bartender and receptionist, clean room Cons: where to start. We weren't expecting too much based on reviews but even then we were disappointed. The rooms were semi remodeled but nothing like the photos on the website for sure. The mattress was terrible, the springs were literally poking me all the time. The pillows were dreadful, basically a bag of bits of sponge, totally unconfortable. The restaurant staff in general did not seem to care or speak Portuguese or english well. They did not at all enforce hygiene measures for covid 19. First day we had dinner there (we had half board) no one was social distancing. At breakfast people were using the same tongs to get their food and they were not being sanitized. Breakfast was not the best. Dinner was disgusting, we had half board and had dinner elsewhere because we are pretty sure the food made us sick when we ate it. At the booking website it said they had 3 restaurants which is completely untrue, they only have one. The pool was not clean. I've been to 2 star hotels and budget hotels with better quality than this one. Do not recommend, spend a little more money to actually enjoy a good night's sleep and a good stay. …
Good hotel. Sara in recption very helpful, good room 120 pool side of hotel. If your looking for a good fry up in the morning forget it good continental though. Close enough for all ammenities. All round liked the place will definitly go back.
Booked this as a last minute holiday for a long bank holiday weekend. We paid extra for pool view after reading reviews about the noise, probably could have got a standard room to be honest with the nightclubs etc closing at 1pm the noise wasn’t bad. Lovely hotel can’t fault it, quiet pool area and friendly bar staff. Location was great right on top of the nightlife and a short walk to the beach. Would stay here again thanks
