Overall this is not a place to stay if u want to get a feel of kashmir . At best it can be an overnight halt kinda place. However kudos to the team for trying their best to make our stay comfortable . On a positive note .. the rooms are big and comfortable and bathrooms clean with running hot water . The changes the linen and toiletries everyday , which was very good The staff was very polite and helpful The bonfire the arranged for us was fun . Negatives .. location right on the road is very u comfortable Food is definitely not their strong point but they were ready to make it as per our requests to the best of their ability . No views to talk off .. So basically your normal No star place to stay .

- Only single person for service for full hotel - We ourselves picked up luggage - Sick person (apparently COVID symptoms) prepared dinner. - Couples in Srinagar Hotel told us that hotel is sealed due to COVID patients - No room keys working. We were using one key for all the rooms. - No flush working in 3 rooms. - No hot water availability in any rooms - person was not able to provide breakfast as the cook was sick. - 2 room heaters burnt in front of us. - Bed heaters were used at all locations but no other locations bed heater burnt. Bed heater cannot get burnt on itself. - Inayat staff of hotel told us that 5-6 electrician come & surveyed in last 6 months but cannot help as there is heavy voltage fluctuations in Daksun - there was a 2 years old kid in the room where the heater burnt in flames at 2.30 in the night, is hotel ready to take the responsibility of danger to the child and our lives?? - We had to miss Sinthan top & leave Daksun due to this bad experience Hotel owner & its Manager are worst & unreliable people. Inahat staff of hotel who single handedly managed whole show needs to be given credit for good work. But rest all are pathetic in their attitude. Worst equipments used in hotel. Complete no go to this hotel for any agent in Kashmir or any tourist.

The stay in Daksum, Paradise Retreat, was extremely horrific experience. The flush in the toilet and the room heater in room no 202 wasn't working. The alternate heater arranged by the staff caught fir at 2 am in the night. Luckily we woke up or else we could have suffocated to death in the sleep itself. Our 2 year old was traumatized by the entire incident and couldn't sleep at all because of the smoke. There was only one staff available to fix all things. We had to leave Daksum and miss Sinthan Top due to this terrible experience.

We booked here only for one night stay in May'19 as we planned to visit Sinthan top and from here we wanted to go to Warnwan valley. Our trip to Warwan was dropped at the last moment as the weather turned out be little dicey with rain in the morning and as the Morgan top was just opened few days ago, Paradise people suggested to drop the idea as road can be a bit risky. Sinthan top is about 1 hour from the hotel and we enjoyed visiting Sinthan top. When we visited the hotel we were the only guests and the rooms were closed in other blocks as they did not have water and electricity in the nearby blocks. We stayed on the restaurant block in the first floor (backside room). There is a Hooka room at the front. Food was included in our booking and it turned out to be very good. The room is bigger to accommodate 3 people. Staff (only 2 were there - one is Manager and the other is the cook) are very nice. We had a good stay here.
