I am so disappointed in this hotel. We arrived on a Friday and stayed until Sunday for a memorial/funeral. When we arrived in the early afternoon, there were no clothing hangers. We were told they could not find us any hangers because the hotel was full and there was going to be a wedding on Saturday and they needed all our hangers. The two people at the desk, Q and Fatima said there was no way they could find hangers for us and they made no effort to acquire any. Might I also say they were quite rude that I was even asking for hangers. Surely it was impossible there were none in a building of multiple rooms. Finally on Saturday night they hung 4 metal hangers on our door handle, which we didn't find since we used a direct entrance into our room from the lawn. And to top it off, the we arrived they said we would not get service (clean towels etc.) because we didn't ask ahead for it... How were we to know? Pool was nice, but no towels one day(and no effort to get us any), breakfast was OK. Overall, what a disappointment for these accommodations, at this sad time in our lives it just was a horrible attitude for a hotel.…
Please update this hotel! The good: rooms are very clean. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Asked for a quiet room away from the wedding reception. Our room was right next to it and the room wreaked of mold and fish. One tiny piece of soap. No body lotion. Front desk lied and said they were fully booked. Said to process refund because I had no idea how toxic the room was. Said I need tip floor on other side away from wedding. Told there were none so again asked for my money back. Suddenly a top floor room on other side opened up. Well, what do you know. The hotel was far from being fully booked. The 2 front desk people had lots of attitude and just plain lazy. The hotel is depressing. Every wall is painted dull white and dirty. The lighting is strictly led and you can see nothing. Breakfast was excellent.…
Very disappointed, expensive, overcharged from quoted price, no room service, no where to have evening dinner, pool closed, rude staff. Why would no clean towels for 5 days. Why would I recommend this place.
We only had the experience with one room type, a large room with a balcony on the second floor. I know they have smaller rooms that might have been remodeled. But having said that this room we got was dirty (dead flies, spots on the carpet all over, coffee stains on a bathroom wallet ). The heating system is a built in electric heater, quite old and fairly noisy. You can see the room was not properly updated for a while, maybe never. The bed sheets, blanket, pillows all quite sub par. We only stayed one night so did not push for a room change because of that. But I recommend you look at the room before moving in if this is possible. While the bones of this property are amazing, it needs updating.
We were over-charged by over $100. We called and left several voice mails -- with machines and actual humans -- and our calls were not returned. We also sent an email and did not receive a reply. It has been several months and no action has been taken.
Great hotel! Beautiful picturesque grounds. Great staff, & well maintained. Nice size room with vaulted ceilings & outdoor porch. Great A/C. Very clean. Excellent indoor salt water pool & fitness center. Very close to downtown Princeton. My 2nd visit, and most certainly not my last..
A few small problems on arrival and staff sprung into action and went above and beyond. Spotless well equipped quiet room, great breakfast, comfortable common areas with beverages and snacks, lovely salt water pool, well equipped gym, friendly bar and nice location. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and especially Sara and Dennis could not have done enough for us. If you are doing business in the Princeton area, this is the place to stay rather than a route 1 congested property. Thank you all for a great stay.
This is an older quaint conference center, good set up for meetings. Lunch is a big buffet with other guests, not a fan of that but it’s efficient. Food was ok, not spectacular. But the hotel rooms are old and worn out. Air is musty and not easily controlled, carpet very old, no usb charging ports. Really needs an upgrade, would not stay there again.
We have used this location twice for leadership training with a group of 14 from Philadelphia. Great meeting space, nice sleeping rooms, excellence service, outstanding food! They offer a CMP package with one price that includes lodging, meeting space, A/V, and meals.
we were lucky, was able to get rooms, we booked early, Highly recommend to do it early for Christmas Holidays, My two brothers and sister and mom had a great time there for Thanksgiving, Judson (front desk) was fantastic, he handled our room bookings and my mothers special needs( she is 88), and lovely Marie( the waitress) was great , she took care of us and very attentive at breakfast( great coffee), Madhu ( the omlette queen) made some great omlettes, fit in our keto diet, The hotel is very very nice, clean and quiet, very calming, Has a few fireplaces to sit around and enjoy coffee, very relaxing, Also the grounds is a great place to walk around, 370 acres very pretty landscape etc. The new pool is like a spa, very nice Has exercise room too
