This pansion is very friendly, the food is excellent, the hosts are very nice. The place is beautiful and quiet. I dare to recommend this place to everybody.
We regularly visit this pansion each year. I have been there at least five times and I always enjoy it. This is a traditional Austrian country house. There are no houses close to the pansion, you can see the Ötscher and the hills around. There is one pub in walking distance and the old railway station. We can enjoy the nature there and look at the animals (horses, cows, lambs, rabbits) in the stall.

This is a bed and breakfast on an organic farm in the mountains. The building is a traditional Austrian country house, with wooden cladding and balconies. The bedrooms were very clean, light and cheerful and ours had a balcony, with views onto the mountains and the fields around. It's at the end of a very quite road with no neighbours, so the only noises you hear are the cow bells. From here there is a path that leads directly into the national park. This is an ideal place to stay for people wishing to explore the park.
This is a working farm with organic dairy cows and a dairy where the family produce their own cheese and yoghurt. Mrs Schenner runs the B and B side of things; she was very welcoming, friendly and full of suggestions for activities, but never imposing - just perfect.
This is definitely a place for animal lovers, you will meet various cats, horses and cows - all of which are very well cared for by the Schenner family. At the time we visited, an elderly cat...
