One word.....vile..it is so dated I thought I was in the ww1. The rooms very cold the TV had one channel. The water pipes banging all night..the staff ignorant .especially the old guy..just don't stay here.

Fabulous location. Close to Cloth Hall, Menin Gate,etc. Newly furnished bathroom, excellent continental breakfast and incredibly warm and friendly hosts meant a wonderful stay over New Year's. Just take care with the stairs....fine for us backpackers but good luck carrying a suitcase up them.

Friendly and helpful staff. Ground floor bistro, where breakfast was also served, was light and airy, and very popular with local people. Bedrooms up a steep staircase. Bedroom was a good size with a small ensuite.
