A fantastic hotel, amazing it's only a 3 star hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are so polite and helpful. Good continental breakfast. Location is good for local sites. Unknown to us, my wife left a pair of earrings which the hotel posted to us,great gesture.

I really can't believe this establishment is listed as being only 3 Stars. After my recent stay - all I can say is that it is deserving of a much better rating. The people who own, staff and maintain this hotel obviously place paramount importance on the comfort and welfare of their guests. First impressions are always very important to...

Excellent Hotel recently been renovated to a very high standard. Our room was a lovely mixture of old world charm and modern facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff that really gave us a warm welcome. So nice to come somewhere where the English are so warmly welcomed. The Hotel is within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, museums, restaurants...

Clean and warm hotel with very friendly staff. Lots of off street parking with a parking disc supplied by the hotel. Pay and Display parking also available in front and back of the Cloth Hall. Hearty breakfast eat as much or as little as you please. We were also given a free welcome drink on arrival. The young girl on...

I picked this hotel due to it's proximity to the centre of town as well as Menin Gate. Ypres isn't a huge town but I was surprised by how easy and quick it was to walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was very well furnished, had large rooms and was always clean. The staff were incredibly helpful too. What...

My wife & I and also our 2 friends stay here every year to visit the Menin gate 'Last Post' parade, on route to the Christmas markets at Brugge. You just cannot fault this place, from arrival, the friendly staff look after you, the rooms and bathroom is all spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and warm. Tea and coffee etc in...

Spent the weekend with our friends for a quick visit to Ypres. Visited Passendale, Hill 62 and paid our respects at the Menin Gate ceremony. The Albion Hotel is ideally situated for this, two minutes away from the Square (Grand Place) with its many restaurants, shops and the wonderful patisserie in Sint Jacoobstraat where the Albion is. The hotel is...

Just spent three nights at the Hotel Albion in Ypres and it was perfect. Accommodation options in Ypres are limited but if you are staying in Ypres as a base for visiting the Western Front, we would recommend the Albion. It is central, clean, warm and very friendly. It is a short walk to the Menen Gate and to the...

What a diamond of a hotel. A wonderful reception with the most pleasant and helpful receptionist. She advised us on where to go, best places to see, eat etc and gave us a voucher booklet. So helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were just great. Massive beds, exceptionally clean, large bathroom and plenty of tea and coffee in...

Nice place. Good clean rooms, friendly staff and good location close to everything. 5 minutes walk to the gate, and plenty of parking within a 5 minute walk. The lady at breakfast has a great memory! Try the bottom end of the Cloth Hall for restaurants open later than 9pm!

Thank Jon M
