I spent 3 nights at the Albion and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is perfectly located in the historic area of Ypres and you can walk anywhere. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast excellent with a wide choice of items. The WIFI was strong and the TV selection good. Lobby staff were friendly and helpful with...

A very Pleasant hotel very friendly and well managed. Our room was clean with a super large and comfortable bed. Our ensuite only had a shower which was disappointing as I do like a soak in the bath. Breakfast was Continental with plenty to choice and lashings of tea and coffee. The hotel is in walking distance of bars and...

I chose this hotel because of the reviews on this site. we were travelling with an 88 and 91 year old, so need a comfortable, friendly hotel that did breakfast. Couldn't have chosen better. Rooms were good, breakfast brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a bar for a quiet drink and we were two minutes away from the centre...

Stayed here in 2003 and returned this year. Much extended. Parking is 11 euro a night but you are right in the centre of things, minutes from Menin Gate and Cloth Hall. Chose a superior room as it was described as "Tower View". There wasn't one, in fact there were permanent blinds on the windows that overlooked the car park......

There was a fine choice of dishes at the self service restaurant breakfast bar and the staff were absolutely excellent. The hotel is very clean and a well-balanced blend of traditional and modern interior architecture help to promote a welcoming feeling. The modern open space that holds the reception area and ladies like Fabien, who greeted us with a lovely...

We came to attend the Menin Gate ceremony at 8pm each night and this hotel is around the corner, so really well located. Good, secure car parking, excellent service from the front desk team and a delicious breakfast the next day. It has not got a restaurant which suited us well, so we ate at denanker, Grote Markt 30, just...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast, loads of choice. As long ad you don't crave for a full English. Just a pity they don't do evening meals, but there are some excellent restaurants nearby. Also a very good location for exploring the town.

Well what can I say, I was warmly welcomed by Dorothy at the desk and made to feel the most important person she had seen all day. Went out her way to help, advise and give me information about the area. My room is a small twin bedded room which is spot on for me and the bathroom is superb. It's...

A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large and very clean. The continental breakfast was really lovely with plenty of choice and all laid out beautifully. The Hotel is just a short walk from The Menin gate and the market square with its beautiful bars and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel very highly. Would rate...

I've visited Ieper several times on business and stayed in various hotels in my time there. You are spoiled for choice in this popular tourist area and I only ended up in the Albion as the hotel just down from it was a lot more expensive than my previous trip a few weeks earlier. I was not disappointed, hotel is...
