Where to start! We booked the 14 -18 stay at Main Street leaving everything to Carine, the hotel owner to arrange for us. We received several updates before our arrival then once at the hotel , whilst having a welcome drink, Carine went through everything we needed for the next few days. The amount of information we were given was...

I recently traveled to the area from the USA for a trade show in Kortrijkt. I noticed this hotel nearby, liked the Trip Advisor reviews and booked. I am very glad I did. Everything is as pictured and described but better. The hotel is cozy, almost like a private club. The room I stayed in "Pottery" was great! Good sized,...

If only all hotels were half as good as the Main Street! We stayed in September 2015 and there is not much more we can add to the glowing comments made by other travellers. This is truly a home away from home. Where else can you a full screen TV above a 2 person bath and a water resistant remote!...

This really is a great small hotel. Just a few minutes walk from the square and Menin Gate. Nothing is too much trouble and every need is taken care of. The room was perfect and the bathroom enormous. You could swim in the bath and watch TV at the same time! The food was out of this world, with an...

Lovely, quirky hotel, great themed rooms and excellent breakfast. Well recommended, and pres is a lovely small city, obviously very central to visiting ww1 sites. Hotel is a shortcut stroll to the town centre and men in gate. We stayed in the "experiment" room, complete with lab coat and scientific equipment

I booked this hotel without really looking too much into detail, as I was just after a place to stay for the night while visiting the WW1 battlefields. When I arrived I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very friendly and welcoming owner and a very nice and spotless room with amazing bathroom and garden area. Without a doubt...

My wife and I were driving from Italy to Zeebrugge and discoverd this outstanding hotel by chance.Yes at first I was a little taken aback by the room charge but we were tired and irritable. On viewing the room and its fabulous facilities it was worth it. We sat in reception had a complementary beer with Carine our host and felt...

What a glorious find - never think of staying anywhere else if you are in Ypres. From the warmest welcome we received from Carine on our arrival, to the hug goodbye at the end, we could not have been looked after more beautifully. Carine is a born hostess and her hotel shows it. The decor is quirky in its best...

While visiting the Commonwealth War Graves in Ypres (Ieper) we stayed in one of the best, and most interesting hotels we have stayed in in all of Europe. Our host, Karin, welcomed us on arrival and we were made to feel very special - as if we were staying in her home. The decor of the reception room was period,...

This is without doubt one of the best hotels, at any price, that I have stayed in. The rooms are individually and beautifully furnished and decorated. Nothing is too much trouble for Carine, the owner, and thoughtful touches abound. The hotel is conveniently situated about a five minute walk from the centre of Ieper with its restaurants, museums and the...
