We've just returned from a five-night stay at the Hotel Ambrosia. This is the first time we've stayed at this hotel but hopefully we'll be able to return. It's in a great location in the center of Ypres and the owners and staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are simple but very comfortable, the breakfast options are...

The location of this hotel is ideal - a few minutes walk from the main square. On arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and professional owner. The rooms were clean and stylish. Comfortable beds and everything you needed in the room. It doesn't have a bar, and that is presumably the reason for it being 2 star - everything...

This really is a very good hotel.the people were excellent, and were so helpfull. The hotel is central in Ypres, with all amenities nearby. If there is one point to raise,it is that people with limited mobility should ensure that they are on the ground floor.

I stayed at this hotel in May with my 11 year old son. It is well placed just a shot walk from the town centre and Menin gate. Vincent was very helpful, providing details of excellent restaurants in Ypres and an opinion on which battle sites should be visited. Breakfast was a very nice plate of bacon and eggs with...

The hotel is situated in the centre of Ypres. The staff is very helpful and friendly and providing valuable recommendations. We stayed here with 3 for one night. The room was spacious and offered everything you need. The lobby had a shoe cleaning machine, which was very helpful after returning from a walk on the fortresses around the city centre....

Ambrosia hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the sad history of Flanders. Vincent, your host, is just gorgeous and the hotel provides excellent service including bikes to hire and good information. If it's not too busy, ask Vincent for poached eggs at breakfast - he makes them beautifully.

We were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and quickly checked in. We had a special request for one of the rooms to be on the ground floor (elderly parent) which was provided. The hotel is a short walk to all the Ieper attractions - our host even offered to book a table for us at one of the restaurants...
