Please be aware that you might not stay in the palace itself. Check in was fast and the staff were very courteous and helpful. We were given a modern garden room which you access by going outside of the palace and going through the garden to get to it, in hindsight I was shocked, I really think people should stay...

Stayed in a superior double room for three nights, room is spacious with beautiful decor throughout. I was on the 3rd floor and there's not much view from the room. I stayed around end of January, they were doing some renovation work for the garden and I was told that I might hear some noise and if its a problem...

Our second stay. Lovely, historic building. Friendly and efficient staff. Sadly renovation work meant that the bistro was closed and food was served in the breakfast room which lacked atmosphere. The menu was the same each night which was surprising in a high end hotel. I would definitely revisit, in spite of this.

Spent three nights at the hotel. A warm welcome from the minute we walked in. Rooms were light and airy with a decent coffee machine. Our room had a shower but no bath, which wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good, wide selection for all with " help yourself slabs of chocolate " to finish. Work being done to the bistro...

I came with my husband for honeymoon in the Duke's Palace. One the 2nd day of our stay, we wanted to order breakfast room service but, we noticed that the choice of food was low, especially for a 4stars Hotel. There are only few choices of food. We were so disappointed that we went out in a brasserie to have...

Beautiful hotel couldn't fault it, The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and had no issues with check-in/out. We did not have breakfast but it smelt lovely this is something we would try on our next visit. The hotel is very central no more than a 5 minute walk to the market square. Would defiantly recommend this hotel...

I have stayed in many hotels and have been lucky enough to stay in the Ritz on our wedding anniversary but nothing is a patch on the Dukes Palace. Amazing staff and fabulous breakfast. Car park perfect. Nothing is too much trouble I could not recommend enough to anyone who wants location and perfect service.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect position in this lovely city.Breakfast was fine 'though don't expect lightly scrambled eggs. The chocolate and cava buffet was a real treat. Dinner in the restaurant was good on Sunday night and a late snack lunch was good on Monday. We found the staff charming, helpful and very efficient. We had a superior garden room. (Across the...
