We have just returned from our seven week holiday in Europe - after all, it was our 35th year anniversary. Bruges was the highlight of our trip and what made it even more special was the outstanding hospitality and service provided by Manu and his charming partner Maka. Of course, like everyone else, I had done my research on Tripadvisor...

My husband and I stayed at Maison Le Dragon in May 2012 for our 30th anniversary as part of our 11 week holiday. Maison Le Dragon was one of the most outstanding places we stayed. Breakfast was just sensational, as well as beautiful fruits, breads, pastries, cold meat, eggs, juices etc we were also served chocolate every morning, which was...

There are many highly rated accommodation choices in Bruges so I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Maison le Dragon. Aside from the positive reviews here and its great location, it also ticked all the boxes for me: parking available, air conditioned rooms, and elevator in the building. The fact that it was a small guesthouse with...

Everything starts with a wonderful host. Emmanuelle was amazing, always present to serve and make our stay better. Because it was our honeymoon he also brought us a box of chocolates as present! The breakfast was the best that ever had. No, you don't need long tables full with different kind of cereals, Emmanuelle will make sure that you will...

Our room was impeccable, with superbly appointed furniture and perfect attention to details. Great jacuzzi and very comfortable bed. The location is perfect, smack in the center of the old...

My fiancé and I stayed here for an evening and had a wonderful time. The house and rooms are extremely luxurious and the food was exquisit. The only slightly negative comment that I have is that the guesthouse was quite formal.

We had a wonderful time in Bruges, enhanced by our exceptional host Emmanuel. Nothing was too great an ask, the breakfast was absolutely superb (one of the best I've had in Europe!!!). We stayed in Bruges over the weekend of the cycle and he prepared us fully for what we should do on each day (given how busy it would...

Stayed two nights in the Silver Silk suite, I think it was called. Upon arrival, the proprietor meets you with a box of amazing chocolates and invites you to sit down while he explains the lay out of the town and points out any attractions you may be seeking. The suite itself is impeccably clean, with extremely spacious bathroom and...

Apart form lacking a kettle which us Brits do like, the overnight stay was perfect. Lovely premise, and fantastic breakfast. Very attentive and helpful owner Emmanual. Definitely recommend.
