Spent 2 nights in Oct 2011 and was really impressed. This operates a little more like a super-boutique 3-room hotel than a B&B. There is a relationship with the Pand hotel and they clearly know how to deliver great service to guests. I really can't think of a better location: you've got horse-drawn carriages out your front door, the canal... More

I discovered the Bonifacius by luck over a year ago when needing a place to stop over in Bruges for the first night of a road trip to Sweden for Easter with my Girlfriend. When planning the trip, I rung several places with one specific request for our first night: we would be arriving very late off the Eurotunnel and... More

Okay, it isn't cheap but compared to other comparable luxury accommodation in Bruges it is the real deal - and very special. Friendly and efficient host, superb level of finish and facilitiesh, fantastic romantic and well placed position, great breakfast, and one of the best view in Bruges from the private roof terrace. I could try to find fault, but... More

'Exclusive' being the operative word here... Myself and my partner saw the Bonifacius while walking around Brugge while visiting to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had one night not booked up with any hotel and thought that the pretty little frontage overlooking the canal looked ideal. The Bonifacius outdid my expectations. Luxurious interior, with bedroom overlooking the canal, beautiful views... More

The Bonifacius is in a perfect location, quiet, charming and nevertheless very central. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and there is a lovely hidden roof terrace, approached by a spiral staircase where you can sit and look out at the beautiful Church of our Lady and other buildings. Breakfast is served in a much photographed room overlooking the canal, with... More

We were spending one night in Brugges (so that we could eat at Den Gouden Harynck) and wanted somewhere special and a little different: we found it in the Bonifacius. Lyne wasn't available to check us in but very quickly sent down a member of the team from The Pand Hotel (who own the guest house) who was charming, even... More

BONIFACIUS made our trip amazing! we went on a week trip in Paris and Bruges was marvellous! Lyne was absolutely helpful and it is obvious how passionate she is about her house. It is the only place that we will choose to stay on our future visits to Bruges. While you certainly can find nice Bruges hotels for lower prices,... More

This house was beautifully restored! The rooms are very generous and the roof top was great for wine and cheese. Lyme is a wonderful owner and made us feel like we were her own personal guest The breakfast was top rated with a capuciano machine that would rival Starbucks . We were lucky enough to check out a little later... More

If anything can rival the unique charm of historic Brugge, it would be this lovely Guesthouse. It was such a relaxing and hospitable environment for our family of four. The teenagers liked it as much as the adults, and we took full advantage of the comfortable rooms, the coffee throughout the day, and the roof top terrace where we enjoyed... More

I discovered this breathtaking Boutique bed and Breakfast by chance on a previous trip to Brugge and made a promise to stay the next time I was in the city. Bonifacius is quite simply the best Hotel of this size that I have ever had the pleasure to be a guest at. And that is how Lyne and her team... More
