Because of all the construction work going on did not know how to get to car park. Walked over the very muddy ground to ask at reception so best to ring before you get there. Reception area looked very promising however the room let it...More
Stayed here for one night recently with 9 friends and our stay did not get off to a great start - having reserved two car parking spaces, we found it impossible to find the hotel car park and ended up having to call the hotel...More

Be prepared that this is definitely not a 4-star hotel level!!! Depressing room and very dirty as well...I give 2 stars just because of the salle for breakfast which is very nice. Other than that breakfast itself is of average quality.
Currently this hotel overlooks a massive construction site on both sides, which they won't tell you online. You have to walk across a building site at the front of the hotel to get to it. At the back, construction started at 5.15am with machinery digging...More

I was on the fourth floor where I encountered bed bugs in two rooms and suffered a bad reaction. I also travelled with Crusader Coach Holidays. Prior to my trip I phoned Crusader voicing my concern about reports of bugs in this hotel but was informed that the Park Hotel had dealt with the infestation. I was doubtful as the reports were very recent. On my return to the UK I angrily wrote a complaining letter to the your company and the hotel cost was reimbursed. To my amazement I noticed that Crusader and Sherings (same reports!!) had the Park Hotel featured in their 2015 holidays. I found the Park Hotel very dated and in great need of a refurbishment although I can only comment about the main hotel. The lift was antiquated with manual doors and there was no porterage. The stairs had threadbare carpets on the lower treads and were dangerously dark due to light bulbs not working. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms and the breakfasts were dire with stale bread for toast and no fresh milk for tea or cereals. In my estimation the Park Hotel falls very short of a four star hotel and I would avoid staying there ever again.
