This hotel is very convenient as it is just on the outskirts of the central city. Easy to access especially if coming by car. We used their unground secure paid parking but there were plenty of spaces on the street. The room was large and...More
An older hotel with a lovely friendly and fast check in considering there was 1 lady on reception and about 30 of us. The one evening meal we had was tasty and thoroughly enjoyable, and the breakfast was plentiful. Loads of choice and again great...More
I would recommend this hotel, it is convenient and has very spacious clean and comfortable bedrooms. The beds are comfortable and there are English channels on the TV. Breakfast is fine. The hotel is however dated and looks as though it is just operating as...More
This hotel is pretty basic in a good way. Rooms are clean and large enough. Service is good and the view over the square is nice. They are currently renovating the whole area so it looks like a construction pit.

The hotel is conveniently located for the picturesque centre of Bruges but also easy to access by car - pretty much a straight route from the motorway. We booked a family room which had a strange layout but was fine and in good condition. However,...More

I was on the fourth floor where I encountered bed bugs in two rooms and suffered a bad reaction. I also travelled with Crusader Coach Holidays. Prior to my trip I phoned Crusader voicing my concern about reports of bugs in this hotel but was informed that the Park Hotel had dealt with the infestation. I was doubtful as the reports were very recent. On my return to the UK I angrily wrote a complaining letter to the your company and the hotel cost was reimbursed. To my amazement I noticed that Crusader and Sherings (same reports!!) had the Park Hotel featured in their 2015 holidays. I found the Park Hotel very dated and in great need of a refurbishment although I can only comment about the main hotel. The lift was antiquated with manual doors and there was no porterage. The stairs had threadbare carpets on the lower treads and were dangerously dark due to light bulbs not working. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms and the breakfasts were dire with stale bread for toast and no fresh milk for tea or cereals. In my estimation the Park Hotel falls very short of a four star hotel and I would avoid staying there ever again.
