The hotel is conveniently located for the picturesque centre of Bruges but also easy to access by car - pretty much a straight route from the motorway. We booked a family room which had a strange layout but was fine and in good condition. However,...More
This hotel is in need of a total make over. The location is very nice, but the inside of the hotel is really old, run down, hasn't seen any TLC lately. The bathroom works, but that is all there is to it. The breakfast buffet...More
Good points, very easy location for city centre and fairly quiet. Apart from that; tired, single beds pushed together to make a double and very mediocre breakfast. Very over priced, you pay for proximity to town .
Made a mistake by not reading reviews here before booking this hotel.
Terrible service with no hospitality at all, arrogant staff!
No room service, shabby rooms with dirty bathrooms. We booked a quad superior room and were allocated a rubbish room and we were only...More

I was on the fourth floor where I encountered bed bugs in two rooms and suffered a bad reaction. I also travelled with Crusader Coach Holidays. Prior to my trip I phoned Crusader voicing my concern about reports of bugs in this hotel but was informed that the Park Hotel had dealt with the infestation. I was doubtful as the reports were very recent. On my return to the UK I angrily wrote a complaining letter to the your company and the hotel cost was reimbursed. To my amazement I noticed that Crusader and Sherings (same reports!!) had the Park Hotel featured in their 2015 holidays. I found the Park Hotel very dated and in great need of a refurbishment although I can only comment about the main hotel. The lift was antiquated with manual doors and there was no porterage. The stairs had threadbare carpets on the lower treads and were dangerously dark due to light bulbs not working. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms and the breakfasts were dire with stale bread for toast and no fresh milk for tea or cereals. In my estimation the Park Hotel falls very short of a four star hotel and I would avoid staying there ever again.
