This Hotel is set in historic buildings. Most Original elements can still be identified and that is what makes this hotel so special. The hotel is quiet with very friendly, professional and helpfull staff that makes the experience classic typical Belgian. The original wooden stairs squeak, the beams you see in the breakfast room ceiling are original, the lighting of...

Dear Jeroen, We are so flattered that you decided to write such a nice review about our hotel. Thank you very much for taking the time to do so. It is wonderful to read that you found our hotel building and the rooms to be spacious and classy with the original historic features and furniture. That is definitely the look...

We stayed in a family room, which didn't quite suit us, but the staff were really helpful moving us to a different room. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the town centre which was great. The only comment I would make about something to improve is changing the limit of 2 devices attached to the hotel wifi. Not enough...

We are a group of three friends visiting Bruges for the first time. Booked into a 'family' room at the hotel hoping there would be enough space for three people to stay. But when we stepped into the room we quickly realised that the third bed is literally shoved into a tiny walk-in closet like space ... if we closed...

We had the good fortune to stay 4 nights here. Upon arrival we upgraded to a larger room, a family room, number 105. It included a LARGE balcony, overlooking the garden, a very small second bedroom that we just used for our suitcases, and a very well sized bathroom. One morning just about departure time, our neighbors left and we...

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 10 with canal view. The staff were all very helpful and very friendly. The whole hotel, which is ideally situated only 5 minutes from the main square, was beautiful - probably made even more lovely at this time of year with Christmas decorations. Our room was very large, and very clean. The breakfasts...

I'm in 2 minds as to how to review this hotel, it's quaint oldness is betrayed by what I've now come to expect as a certain standard in many a modern hotel. The rooms are old, and they look it. Dated antique furniture, along with low sitting beds (2 singles pushed together) and uncomfortable cushion style pillows makes for not...

What a great location this hotel enjoys, right on the canal and even after more than a few very strong beers can be found easily. The hotel had a lovely charm about it and the Christmas decor was excellent and really added to the appeal. The room was very large and the bathroom was huge, we traveled in a group...

We stayed for 3 nights and thought it was a great hotel. Staff are so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a comfort room (30), which was a good size with a big bathroom. My only criticism would be the bed (2 singles pushed together) which moved during the night on the wooden floor, and the shower didn't have enough...

If I am honest, I am not sure if this is charming and quaint or just old and tired. The building is fantastic, built on the canal front and is very charming. The lounge rooms are quaint with nice open fireplaces and sofas. The rooms have massive double beds. They are quite soft, so if you are fussy, this may...
