Great accomodation. Downtown is just 10 minutes by car. Room are big and the staff is polite. The price is in the average for Bruges, still I wouldn't give 4 stars, I personally think that this is a 3 star Hotel.

its on an industrial estate. 25 mins walk to centre, theres much more attractive hotels to stay at in the city centre, 13 euros by taxi to station, your money will be much better spent bookeing one within the centre, bruge is a lovely place...More
On a trip across Europe this was my final stop before returning to the UK. The hotel was clean and the service good, but I felt it poor value and the breakfast (optional) came with a €17 price tag, which might be fine for business...More
Good location if you have your own transport. Food & drink expensive, though and we were disappointed to find that our double bed was in fact 2 singles which were joined together. That was ok, until they started separating in the middle of the night,...More
Stayed 1 night on the way to Paris by car. While location wise is not very ideal - not within a reasonable walking distance to the city centre- the room is generous in size and comfortable. Very reasonable room rates & friendly staff.

The Velotel has an arrangement with a taxi company which seems a good deal, although we never needed to use it. The deal was in the form of a voucher for which you paid 20Eu at the reception desk. This paid for a taxi to pick you up at the hotel and take you to anywhere in the city. You could then ring them to take you back to the hotel from an agreed pick up point. As the taxis were large people carriers, this deal would be particularly good for a large group and certainly OK for a wheelchair. Perhaps ring the hotel to arrange this for you. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your message. The best way to get to the hotel from the airport, is by public transport. There is a frequent connection between Brussels and Bruges central train station. From the central station, there is a frequent bus that stops in walking distance from the hotel. This is bus Line 3 and the busstop is called Tempelhof.
