We stayed one night in Hotel De Stokerij and it was a pleasant hospitality. The owner of the place welcomed us with a big smile, an excellent English speaking and a good local beer! She was free to help us with the map of Belgium and offered us attractions for the next morning, all with a lot of patience, empathy...

Stayed here with friends who had stayed here before and they said we would love it and they were right. Only stayed for one night and wish we had stayed for 2. Arrived early in the morning and the host made us a coffee and bought us some cake which was lovely. We dropped our suitcase off and went out...

The man is the cook of the dinners, which he does very nice. Making use of homemade products or products from the area....

Loved the beautiful grounds. Hostess was so accommodating, helping with requests and providing day trip advice on how best to get around. Nearby restaurants are good, and special course meal by host a great option. Local products, and those made by host, which are served at great breakfast, are a special treat!
