I have been around the block a few times but I never came across such bad service. We ended up leaving the place (wife and baby together). The owner shouted at us and complained because we asked for some basic things. The worst experience of my life. Destroyed the whole weekend.

We stayed here with friends from the USA and the welcome was non-existant. It was hard to find anyone most of the time as they seem to have other businesses and expect the hotel to run itself. My friends were treated exceptionally poorly as the owner was very rude. Avoid this place - it would be better to sleep on...

You judge for yourself, here’s our experience: The owners were only there for breakfast so the rest of the time their teenage son handles guests. He is not up on services in Bruges (e.g. when asked if there were bikes and motorbikes to rent he said no to motorbikes although later we found a brochure right in their rack about...

The hotel is large enough and clean. Easily accessable to center of the city. If you need help from the hostess, we never saw the host, don't expect anything. How someone with such little interest in people decided to open a B&B is surprising. One evening my friend became sick so I went to their restaurant looking for coke and...

We stayed 4 days at Hotel de Pauw, a small family-run hotel. They were very helpful and friendly. Great location in the quiet northeast corner of the old part of Bruges, 10 - 15 minutes walk from the centre and 2 minutes fro9m a nearby canal. The owners are very friendly and helpful and speak very good English (and French)....

We planned a week-end away form our four kids... once in a while you need some time for yourself and your partner. We stayed at "De Pauw Hotel", a small family hotel with small, but comfortable rooms. We wanted a good bed in our room, and that is what we found.... so that we could wake up for once at...

This was our second visit to the De Pauw and i'm glad to say very little has changed. The hosts are still friendly and helpful, the rooms are still clean comfortable and have some character. The walk from the hotel into the town centre seems shorter as we now know the short cuts. We also used the hotels own restaurant...

Very quite location. About 10/15 minutes walk to the main market place. Room was small but fune. Only thing is was a bad smell in the room. We mentioned this to the lady owner who came in and deny that there was a smell!! We ended up getting air freshers in a susper market. To descibe the smell was like...

The hotel is very quaint. The owners are welcoming and quite helpful. Rooms are clean and adequate, although a bit small. Though we didn't really mind since we were out most of the day and only came back to sleep. Location is ok, a leisurely 15 minute stroll to the market. The only problem we had is that we had...

Made me pay for two nights when I only booked one at the accommodation agency - I could not verify what was written since I cannot read Flaams. Made a big hassle about checking out and were generally loud and rude.
