We stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect for our stay in Bruge. The location is great, just a few moments away from the main heart of Bruge and within walking distance to all sights. We asked for a quiet room so we were given a room which was seperate from the main hotel area, where the...

From the moment we arrived, till we left we were treated with excellent service. The Receptionist when we arrived made us feel so welcome and explained the hotel and surrounding area, including discounts you could use by showing the Hotel card, which we did and saved many Euro's. The room was huge and very comfortable. Being English we did miss...

This is probably an adequate hotel if you have no problems. Unfortunately we had a major problem and the Management’s inability or unwillingness to resolve it ruined our stay. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and tried to have a snooze after sightseeing. Unfortunately the door to the block where our room was banged every time someone came in with...

Spent three nights here in June 2012 for a special birthday celebration. Staff friendly and helpful. We had an excellent room with the biggest bathroom I've ever seen! It was clean and well furbished. Nice courtyard garden with water feature which was not overrun so you could have a quiet drink in the evening, weather permitting. Breakfast was more than...

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, First of all I would like to thank you for choosing the Jan Brito hotel for your break and for the time you took to share your comments about your experience at our premises. Arrived at this hotel and was greeted in the reception by a very friendly receptionist who gave us tips on where to eat and all the best places to visit. She then showed us to the lift to go up to our room. The room was clean with a good sized bathroom and a air conditioning unit which was useful...

If you are just looking for a place with a bed this hotel is acceptable. I was in a standard room and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was large and adequately stocked with toothbrush and shaver if you forget yours. Mini bar was great and stocked and prices excellent for Belguim. 2 euros for most. rug was tired and should...

Hotel Jan Brito was one of my very favorite hotels in my 26 day trip in Northern Europe. The short bus ride from the train station to a stop very near the hotel. Our little room with the garden view was wonderful. My 6foot1inch brother was a little inconvenienced by the lower ceiling, but I was fine. The breakfast room...

Hotel Jan Brito is conveniently located and characterful with a pretty courtyard garden. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean. However, I suspect the local 4 star rating is not the same as international standards. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no restaurant on site (though plenty nearby), breakfast was not good in comparison...

My previous reviews are always more or less for the "corporate" type of hotel. I chose the Jan Brito based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed at all. The hotel is tastfully restored and maintained in true historic fashion. The arrival was very good with the young girl being ever so helpful, describing the hotel, where I...
