We enjoyed our stay here . Highly recommend. Good breakfast . Nice courtyard to relax after a busy day. The fm wasn't opened yet but will be a nice addition. We used the bikes to ride to Damm which was a highlight of our trip

A perfect hotel to stay in Brugge. Location is perfect, five minutes to the Burg and the Markt. De building was completely fitting in the 'Brugge-feel'; historic, romantic and cozy. The staff was friendly, breakfast was fine and the rooms were clean and very nice with a warm feeling. We can recommend this hotel particulary for couples.

We stayed in a courtyard room with upstairs bathroom (very steep stairs) which was nicely furnished. Being at the back it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and service swift. Underground car park about 200 metres away.

I stayed here for one night, breakfast included. The bedroom is big and I had a nice rest. The breakfast is buffet style so that you can eat whatever you like.I also went to the bar for a drink.A big compliment for the friendly and attentive personnel.

I spent 2 nights here with my mum and sister. We had a family room (room 9) which had a mezzanine floor. We all slept really well. The staff in particular were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help with directions and dinner reservations. The hotel is a short walk from the main sites so very convenient.

Having been now 6 times to Bruges over the past 2 years, staying in various hotels, I have finally found the ideal place. Hotel Jan Brito is excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Being a old style hotel all rooms vary, but I had a small single room which was more than adequate for my stay. Others in... More

The Hotel Jan Brito is five minutes walk from the centre of Bruges with a lovely park nearby at the end of the street. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and the decor traditional but newly restored with an eye for current taste. It would be difficult to fault it as a base for a hard day's sightseeing.

The Hotel Jan Brito is an absolutely charming establishment in the heart of Bruges. It inhabits an old structure (17th century?) and preserves the sensibility with traditional décor and thoughtfully renovated rooms. Happily, the plumbing and electricity are absolutely up to date – no trouble sourcing electrical outlets here, and we had a miraculous bathroom – the same size as... More

Unfortunately I had to cancel my recent trip to Bruges. I had two rooms booked. Room 1, a double room, was prepaid to lock in a good rate. I knew that by cancelling the room I would lose the total cost of €166. That's my loss and I accept that. Room 2, a junior suite, was booked with "flexible terms".... More
