Stayed here for one night only wish we could have stayed longer,Right from the very beginning my Husband and I were made very welcome, the girls on reception were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early after a long ferry crossing and were told our room would not be ready till later but we were able to leave our...

Great hotel in an awesome city. Perfect room well located walking distance to downtown Bruges (all of Bruges is in walking distance mind you). Lots of places to eat nearby and we got a wonderful deal on the room. They also give discounts on a lot of local attractions on the card that your room key comes in.

Stayed one night. It was a Thursday night. Hotel room was very nice. Beds comfortable. Our check in and out experience was a little off, but all in all, I would stay here again. Really enjoyed the town as well. I would warn that the town gets very busy on the weekends. Would suggest a weekday.

Room was large, with free WiFi access, free tea and coffee supplied with a lovely chocolate and they cleaned it to a high standard each day. Felt disabled access ramp, via...

stayed here for the new year. the hotel is ideally located near the main tourist area but not too close to be noisy. 10 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk to the main market place. the staff spoke English and we're friendly and helpful. rooms were clean and tidy.

We initially chose the Academie Hotel based on location and price- both of which were excellent. We arrived via train and were able to locate the hotel, with bags, in the dark, on foot within a 10-15 min walk. It is on a very quiet street (from what we found, all of Bruges is quite after dark) and the room...

Lovely hotel, very large room, free Wifi and a large bathroom, could want any more. Nice bar on site as well, so had a last beer each night in the bar before bed. Didn't eat here though, although I'm sure it would have been good.
