The rooms were a lovely size, clean and tidy but unfortunately we had twin beds which were tiny and uncomfortable. The bathroom was fabulous though. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of items. The reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel itself was lovely. A short walk to everything we needed in the...

Dear Mr/ Mrs Thank you for your review! We're sorry to hear that you found the beds rather small and uncomfortable. All the beds used in the rooms are boxsprings, which are a standard size and are highly recommended in the hotel world. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay and that we can welcome you again in the...

Lovely hotel. Great location. Very friendly staff too. Would recommend. Bar only stays open until midnight though. Breakfast is quite expensive but that's the same in most hotels in the area. The rooms are nice and the shower is pretty epic. No shower doors though which is a bit odd.

We booked a city break to Bruges with Riviera travel in UK for three nights last week. The Academie Hotel was our destination. What a superb hotel, great location for walking the city. The staff were great & nothing too much trouble & English spoken every where. The hotel itself was of a very high standard, the breakfast selection was...

This hotel is in a good location not far from the centre of Bruges . The rooms were clean and spacious. They have tea and coffee provided in the rooms but only give one sachet of creamer each per day so had to buy milk, also there is a sensor on the lights in the bathroom and each time I...

A good choice for a good standard of accommodation and location. Rooms were of a good size, very clean and well kept. Comfy bed, TV and usual amenities. Very welcoming and friendly reception staff, and we were able to check in a little early which was great. Breakfast offered a good selection, more than we expected. Plenty of pastries, bread...

We're still here as im writing this. I read the reviews about this place but im not having the same 'excellent' experience. The location is excellent. ..thats it. Its an avg hotel. Quite tight on the coffee sachets for the room and other things that are usually top up! Our room is ground floor. Small and basic. I guess all...

Fantastically welcoming check in staff which is always a bonus after a long journey and they helpfully suggested things like the best chocolate shop and best place to eat with kids. They also suggested we use the nearby Parking Katalinje as the hotel parking was full and this was easy to find. Family room was large and spotless with a...

Stayed for 3 nights on a B&B basis. When booking it worked out about £4 each extra per night for breakfast. Much cheaper than organising when you arrive and well worth it. Great selection and plentiful. We were on the third floor right at the back of the hotel. Really quiet and a great sleep. Wifi was good and the...

Travelled to Bruge via Eurostar and this lovely hotel was a 15 minute walk from the main railway station. It is situated in one of several picturesque streets around the city. Horse and traps regularly ride by. Friendly staff, excellent Breakfasts and lovely rooms. The main parts of the city are all a short walk away and you can hop...

The Academie Hotel was the perfect choice for a short weekend in Bruges. All the other hotels I contacted insisted on a two night stay, and while we loved Bruges, two nights would be way too long. Academie Hotel was good with just one night and we were given a triple (three singles) for the three of us which was...
