A friendly and homely hotel with welcome cookies at reception and an owner dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay. Only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Brugge our only criticism is the lack of parking. However, once we had sorted out a multi story, 8 euros for 24 hours (you can drop bags off first!), the rest of...

Stayed for one night at Karel de Stoute and found the whole experience very nice. Hotel is easy to find with secure parking just 2 minute walk and €8.70 for 24hr Check in was fast with homemade cakes offered to us during the process The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the main central square in Bruges, several nice...

We have just come back from our three night stay. The hotel is on a one way street, which can be a challenge to get to but you can park outside for a little while and empty the car without worrying about a parking ticket. When I booked the room I asked for parking to be sorted and this was...

From the minute we arrived we knew this was somewhere special! Beautiful reception area, friendly welcome and perfectly appointed room. Hotel is located close to the main sights but in a lovely quiet street. Breakfast is probably the best we have had anywhere we have visited -delicious and the basement bar is a perfect way to end your day If...

The welcoming you get from the staff on arrival is "1ST CLASS", as 1st timers we were made to feel like visiting family members. As we were early (11.30 A.M) we were able to leave our bags with reception which were then taken to our room when ready, our jackets were hung up for us on hangers provided. The room...

My husband and I have been traveling around Europe for the last year. The Karel de Stoute Hotel and the town of Bruges itself has been one of our favorite places. The hotel is in the heart of town, has a convenient parking option and is dog friendly. The hotel is so cozy and they have done a nice job...

Located in beautiful surroundings in very close proximity of Bruges historical centre lies this little gem. The owner and staff (family run it seems) are very friendly and service minded, especially noticeable during the included breakfast when egg and coffee is served personally, whilst the rest of the breakfast is laid out buffet style. The room was spacious, clean and...

Friendly family welcome and super traditional breakfast with proper fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice. Probably one of the nicest we've had in a hotel. Our golden retriever was once again made particularly welcome and enjoyed the biscuits and the attention. The weekend cellar bar is a lovely extra to the hotel and is always very enjoyable and...

Not the first time that we've stayed here as we visited last November and again it didn't disappoint. Conveniently located close to all the main attractions, a good choice for a short stay. A warm at Reception and very helpful hosts. Good sized rooms and a more than adequate (continental) breakfast. A 'cave' bar beneath the Hotel allows for a...
