My husband and I have returned today from a two day stay at this hotel together with our rescue dog who was, quite frankly, made as welcome as we were. The decor was beautiful and a great deal of attention is given to small details. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and plenty of choice. We had a double room with canal... More

Hotel Ter Brughe is an absolutely lovely hotel. From the minute we spotted it from outside, we knew it was special. Set on a canal, it looks so quaint and fits in perfectly with the historic surroundings. It's roughly a ten minute walk from the busy market square and offers a really peaceful stay. The customer service was absolutely fantastic... More

I booked this hotel with my sister through a Eurostar package. It was really reasonable and we were impressed get a 4* hotel for the price. Having stayed there I don't think this hotel is a 4* hotel, more a 3*. The location is fantastic, far enough away without being too far. The building is beautiful and we were upgraded... More

Great location on the canal to the North of the Porters Lodge; and only a short walk from same and one of my favourite views in Bruges. Quiet at night but not at all far from the main Markt square and central attractions. The hotel itself is a lovely old brick building with a visible timber frame throughout. Was made... More

We have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is good within easy walking distance of the centre and it is on the canal, but our room, No 1, was very disappointing being more a sort of green cave in the bowels of the hotel with the canal about 18 ins below the window sill. The bathroom was clean... More

From entering the foyer of this hotel to check in until leaving after checking out I enjoyed the place thoroughly. On entering we were greeted by Dauwe: one of the friendliest Belgians I have ever met, who immediately advised us on which restaurants to visit and which to avoid as well as giving us directions to everywhere that we wanted... My boyfriend and i regularly visit this hotel for a restorative break to get away from the world. It has never let us down. The location is perfect, tucked away on the riverside but also moments away from the main square. Also, devilishly near Patisserie Academie to pick up a superb pastry on the short stroll into town! The beautiful... More

We just stayed at Ter Brughe for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was great, room was clean and the service excellent! It is away from the busy center which we loved. Douwe, who served us when we arrived was fantastic. He helped with information, reservations for dinner and serving tea and coffee. We would stay at Ter... More

This hotel is in a nice old building along the canal in quite a good location, not far from the city centre. We had free parking outside and the morning receptionist was both very helpful and efficient and agreed to mind our bags for us. There was some confusion about our booking when we arrived, suggesting a higher price than... More

We stayed here for 4 nights to explore the town of Brugge. This hotel was wonderful. We had a nice view of the canal from our room and the whole style and feel of the place blends in to the medevil feel of the town. The included breakfast was pretty good with both hot and cold choices, as well as... More
