Really well positioned hotel or is it really a B&B? Close to the main amenities and attractions of old town Bruges, with secluded garden areas and a tranquil setting which is both picturesque yet imposing in terms of the size of the property relative to its immediate gardens. The rooms are of a good size (certainly room 5 where we...

When we arrived at the hotel, the owner seemed less than welcoming; like she wanted to be somewhere else. This seemed to be a running theme, as we rarely saw her during our stay. The whole place could do with a bit of a makeover, but not so as to lose the undoubted charm that it possesses. The rooms were...

Stayed for one night, our room was a bit small but then we only slept in it so hay ho,some of the others are a lot bigger. Our bathroom was a bit cupboard like but clean. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of both hot and cold food and the area is nice and quiet and only ten minutes walk...

We had the pleasure of staying in a vintage style hotel with a beautiful location and a peaceful environment. Our room was small and compact. The bedding was good and comfortable. The bathroom could have been better especially the shower area (a bath tub actually) as we couldn't stand straight under the sprayer! It was odd but thats something we...

A lovely old manor home in absolutely the most picturesque part of Brugge. It is a little beat up and musty, and the accommodations are not high luxury, but the surrounding environment and the fact it is walking distance to the train makes it absolutely worth while. My complaints are that we were not granted the room we requested and...

We stayed here for two nights. This Hotel is located near the so-called 'Lake of Love' and has a delightful garden. Our room had a beautiful view of the garden. Room was small but comfortable - nothing flash. Bed was comfy, bathroom adequate and all clean. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, meats, breads, cheeses, scrambled eggs and bacon juice...

Just got back from bruges, and we stayed in a lovely hotel called “egmond”.It was very close to a tourist area but located in a very quite area near the minniewater, fact is the address is minniewater. The garden is fairly big but enclosed from all prying eyes, you might get the occasional tour walking past and you might get your photo taken as...

Hotel booked via well known provider 16/02/14 for 2 nights (14/15 July) - confirmation email from the hotel received 17/02/14. Booking then cancelled, via email, for unforeseen circumstances on 12/07/14 @ 7.49am. When further details were requested the hotel did not reply to my emails. The hotel did not contact the booking agency and they were completly unaware of the...

Hotel Egmond is from the outside and at ground floor level a true delight. The gardens and public rooms are truly excellent. However once you venture up the increasingly steep stairs then things are not so good. Stained carpets and chipped paint do not look good. The bedroom we occupied was a good size and had very comfortable beds but...
