My husband and I stayed here two days. He staff is excellent. Breakfast was sufficient. Hotel itself really needs some deep cleaning and a bit of other sprucing up. For instance, the bathrooms need major deep cleaning/bleaching and all towels need to be replaced as they are old and not soft at all the bed mattress was very comfy but...

The service is excellent in this cozzy, characteristic hotel. Upon our arrival they greeted us with a smile and helped us find our way around. The free WiFi is grea tand our room overlooked a small canal which was home to several swans. You also can't beat the location; walkable distance from the train station and main areas of Bruges...

The hotel is located about 15 mins walk from Bruges railway station in a quiet street alongside a canal. It also has its own car park. It is an old building (formerly a print works according to Guy the night porter who worked there until it became a hotel approx. 30 years ago) and areas of it appear tired and...

The hotel is close to the centre, less than 10 minutes walk from the Markt but only one minutes walk from one of the main shopping streets and the t'Zand with restaurants and bars though it is still very quiet and so ensures a good nights sleep. The staff are friendly especially Guy who tended the bar at night and...

The hotel should be lovely as it is a really old building and very conveniently located for the main attractions, town and shopping. However we were given two twin rooms as we were four ladies visiting for two nights. One room was at the back and was very small and we had to get the night porter to clean and...

We spent one night here in June 2014. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, reminding of old days. The rooms are nice and so was the breakfast. Last but not least, a big plus was guest parking in the back yard.

Weren't sure what to expect, as there had been some negative comments about condition of hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Real character, exceptionally clean and great location, on canal just minutes from town centre. Quiet but near all amenities. Definitely recommend the superior rooms which were a great size with everything you need including mozzie plug-ins. Regular rooms were smaller...

Great central location but the hotel is looking a bit tired. The decor is a bit dated but it makes the hotel appear charmimg according to my wife (strange really). The staff are very helpful and the WiFi is excellent. The breakfast was very good. Book your car parking in advance though as this is limited.

I stayed here with a buddy and picked the hotel because it had a good price compared with the romantic hotels - we had a twin for 70 pounds. If I had been going with my wife I might have picked a more luxury hotel. The hotel is well located and has an old-style feel to it - apparently created...
