All of the positive feedback given by other recent reviewers is true! We stayed in apartment 21 (on the top floor at the front) which had a view out over the cobbled street. This was normally very quiet - and the sound of hooves in the morning as the horse and carriages went in to start their day's work is...

The flat was located in the old town. Supermarket, bakery, butcher and a laundry can be found within 300m. All sightseeing are within a short walk too. Free parking about 5mn walk which is a bonus in a touristic place like Bruges (you can still park just down the flat if you wanted to as there is street parking and...

We HD a lovely week at Aramis, and were made to feel really welcome by Hedwig and her husband. From being met at the train, to the wealth of information given by Hedwig on some of the more 'local' places to eat and shop. The apartment was very comfortable, with the only thing missing being an oven, but this was...

We booked this apartment fairly last min- and what a pleasant suprise! We stayed in flat 11 and although when you look on the map its on a main route into the main square the inside of the apartment is silent- due to the quadrouple glazing, amazing with cobbled streets outside. The apartment is very easy to find in the...

We agree with the comments in the "Laguna" review. We had a great holiday in Bruges & the apartment was excellent - near centre of Bruges, good shops nearby, including excellent Butcher shop and bakery shops. The Van Laere family gave us a very warm welcome to the city and to the apartment. It's obvious they applied their skills and...

My husband and I stayed for a week during the Christmas holidays. LOCATION: On the south end of the medieval core, the apartments are easy walking to everything you'd want to see as a tourist, yet just far enough away that we felt we were staying where the locals really live. It's an easy 10 minute walk from the train...

We stayed at the Aramis with our 3 year old daughter. The location is perfect. If the weather is good and you don't have much luggage (or a roller) you can easily walk to/from the train station (maybe 10 minutes max ... it was that with me holding the 3 year old's hand), and also a short walk to the...

“Porthos is really good for two people”
chrisdQ8856TF, 3 Jun 2013 | Read review
“Porthos is on the off-street sife of the building so it's very quiet.”
ViaggioNow, 18 Oct 2012 | Read review
“In flat 21 the wall between the lounge / dining area and the bedroom does not go all the way to the ceiling because of the old wooden beams. If you have a small child that needs quiet to sleep a different flat would be better. But for two people on their own it was perfect.”
NeilD_London, 17 Jul 2012 | Read review
“Note for Parents: There is no door into the bedroom (we were in flat 2.2) so any noise travels between the bedroom and the lounge room and vice versa. Just something to bear in mind if you have a little one sleeping in the bedroom in a cot Apart from that the room was quiet as situated at the back of the building.”
