A really great location walking distance from the beautiful sights of Gent, down a quaint side street. Main downside was the noise, both through internal walls and through the windows to the street. Thank goodness I can sleep through anything, otherwise you might not have got much sleep. Otherwise, great breakfast- good choice and v filling. Clean rooms and nice... More

What a lovely guesthouse Alphabeds is. Quaint, bright, airy and comfortable rooms. Hair dryer in room and coffee maker. Short stroll from restaurants and bars. Lovely healthy breakfast. The owner wasn't there when we arrived, but all we had to do was call him and he gave us instructions on how to get in. Alphabeds really is worth the stay.... More

Stayed here for a long weekend and was very impressed. It is small - only about 5 rooms all together - which makes it especially endearing. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with a unique style as you might expect from a small guesthouse like this. Breakfast was a lovely continental style with freshly squeezed orange juice all laid up on... More

A charming room with a comfortable bed, a wonderful bathroom with a very comfortable bathtub. The breakfast was absolutely lovely with fresh orange juice and croissant! I'll definitely visit this BB again!

On arrival during the afternoon (31st of Dec), there was no one there so we had to call a certain telephone number. The owner gave us all the information to get in and out of the hotel, wifi password, etc. The room (Deluxe 2p bedroom) was absolutely wonderful. There were some armchairs, a very comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, different... More

Visited Alphabed in March 2015 for 2 nights. This place oozes with style for those who like to opt out of the mainstream. An old building, stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast and use of kitchen facilities in a perfect, central location. What more could you ask for? Couldn't recommend it highly enough. The owner was very accommodating and... More

We arrived mid afternoon to find that gaining entry required us to phone the owner but we did not have a mobile phone; the house is on a back street and no-one was around because it was a public holiday. Fortunately two other guests appeared then and lent us their mobile phone, so we were able to get in. We... More

Had to stay over in Gent for business and found this place. The outside of the building needs a little fixing but the inside is really very nice and cute! My room was large and full of light, enjoyed a bath after working all day... The breakfast was very nice as well, unfortunately I had to leave early so couldn't... More

A group of four of us stayed here in May. The rooms are very updated and clean. Owner is super nice and willing to provide you with any information needed about the city. The breakfast was amazing!!!! Freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh bread, eggs cooked to your preference and sweet fresh cut fruits. Defiantly one of the best B&Bs I've... More
