The first thing you notice when you arrive is the warm, enthusiastic welcome. Hosts Jurgen and Kurt obviously take pleasure in seeing that guests have a pleasant stay. And there is great attention to details (I suspect they have designed an experience as they would Like it to be for themselves). Here are some examples: when I mentioned that I...

Had a great stay at B and B Cuberdon. Jurgen was a very gracious host and the amenities were excellent. Jurgen gave great first hand knowledge of the city and easily sold me on coming back to explore it even further during a future trip! He even washed our clothes and gave us a ride to the train station at...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cuberdon B&B in Ghent! The location is quiet and perfect for sleeping which we needed to do after a long flight. Take advantage of the bikes - nothing better than riding around the canals and streets and exploring this great city. Most importantly, Jurgen and Kurt really go the extra mile with their...

Outstanding B&B. Kurt and Jurgen were excellent hosts. Wonderful memories of a perfect holiday in Ghent. 5 star all the way! We were visiting from Norwich and were able to enjoy seeing the Ghent 12 with help from our hosts and the friendly locals. Brilliant!

The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, so sleeping not a problem. Breakfast excellent. A gentle 25mins stroll to the historic centre of the city. Would thoroughly recommend Cuberdon and Ghent, a beautiful city.

Arrived by motorbike on Wednesday to be met by Kurt, who kindly directed us to his secure outbuilding. Many thanks for this service, it was a great help. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and breakfasts were top quality. Kurt provided us with some local tips and knowledge for our 4 nights there. Thank you

This was one of the best hosting experiences that I have had in Europe. Ghent is not to be missed and this is the place to stay if you want to soak all the culture that this ancient city has to offer. There is plenty to see that is close by so spend several days here at the B&B. Rent...

Kurt and Jurgen were excellent hosts, and put in many details to their business that makes it very welcoming- from the conversation over breakfast to their advice on different sites in the city. You can sense their passion for what they are doing, and for their city.

Hosts Kurt and Jurgen go the extra mile! Superb quality rooms/bathrooms, breakfasts excellent (and customised to suit), help with orientation to and access to town, and two hosts with a fund of knowledge about their beloved city, Ghent - thus we enjoyed places we would not have found otherwise. A most comfortable and a great welcome for New Zealanders into...
