Needed a place to crash for the night after flying in late. Arrived here around 2:30 in the morning and was quickly helpen. I believe we were in bed around 2:45. We did get a room with 2 seperate beds instead of one double bed but were too tired of travelling to go back down and ask for a different...

Dear guest I'm delighted to read that we were able just what you needed to recharge after a long day. As from next week 20th we are upgrading all our double beds to extra long luxurious Kingsize beds, and the twin rooms to 2 Queensize beds. Hope you will find the time to visit us again in the future. I chose this hotel due to position close to the motorway and as I had good experience in the past there was no reason to doubt otherwise. As usual check in was very straightforward and the room not luxurious but all I need is comfortable bed and good shower. The choice of pillows really help give a good nights sleep...

Check-in was fairly efficient. However, receptionist was not attentive. We specifically ordered a taxi that would accept credit cards- this request was not conveyed to the taxi company. Mattress was a bit too soft for my liking- this is a common problem in Belgium. There were tradesmen doing renovations when I arrived- they were drilling in the adjacent rooms- so...

Dear Sir Thank you very much for the time to inform us about your experience at the Holiday Inn Express Gent. I must admit that i was very surprised to read that your taxi did not accept credit cards? We only work with CR-Taxi and V-Tax, and all their taxis accept credit cards without having to ask this specifically in...

Booked this hotel for one night as a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids). The room was comfortable and spacious with tea making facilities. Breakfast was included in a price but very small choice and only cold food. The hotel is an a good location, with good access from the motorway and has a big car park.

Dear guest Great to read that you enjoyed your stay with the family. Did you know that we are currently in the process of replacing our current beds / sofa couches with new, bigger, top quality Queensize and Kingsize beds? This will happen in phases in February. With these new beds and the addition of a fridge in every room,...

Dear Martin R I'm happy to read that you enjoyed your stay ! Did you have time to visit the Winter Festival and the Winter Wonderland Castle? The tram is really a great option to get into the city center, as Gent has the largest pedestrianized area of Flanders, and finding a parking space is difficult and expensive. Did you...

Went with my family to spend the weekend in Ghent. Once we arrived at around 12:00 pm; the start was shocking when we knew that there is no room service and their restaurant is closed. He offered me to call Dominos pizza where after doing so, we had a delay for an hour waiting for the delivery ! After the...

Dear guest Thank you for sharing your comments with us. I would like to take this opportunity to give you some feedback: -Regarding the opening times of the restaurant: i am unsure if by 12:00 pm you mean noon or midnight. If you mean midnight it is normal that the restaurant is closed, closing time is 10pm. If you mean...

Very annoyed with the way this hotel operates. This is not a reflection on the staff as they were very nice and helpful. My biggest complaint is the restaurant. If you sit on one side of the little wooden partition, it's considered the bar and they won't serve you. If you happen to come in during certain hours, they won't...

We spent one night in this hotel on our way to the Czech Republic. We arrived about 9 pm and had a beer and an excellent meal in the bar. The hotel is what you expect from a highway hotel. Basic service, friendly staff, simple (but crowded) continental breakfast. The room was very large and clean. But the bed and pillows were surprisingly uncomfortable. The city center of Ghent is actually not as accessible as one would've liked and public transport is not as regular as Belgian standards.

Dear guest I am a bit surprised to read about your experiences. It's great to read that you enjoyed the service, friendly staff and the free continental breakfast. However, did you notice the timetable in the elevators showing you when you might encounter some waiting time at breakfast? Certainly during weekends, most guests want to sleep out with a rush...
