Based on my excellent memory of Sofitel St James London, I blindly chose their luxury hotel in Brussels. Big mistake right from the beginning. When I called up the front desk to reconfirm my booking, they could not locate it. I had to call up booking.com to get them to reconfirm the booking for me. When I checked in, they...

I think I have finally found the best hotel in Brussels! I travel here every few months and usually stay in the 'EU Commission' area for work. The hotels around this area are a rip off - expensive for what they offer. With a steady flow of eurocrats, lobbyists etc etc hotels don't have to worry!! But this one is...

The Sofitel Europe offered fantastic service and made us feel like the most important guest there. Everyone was so helpful, from housekeeping to the restaurant staff and concierge. We booked 2 junior suites (the hotel offered a 50% discount deal) and enjoyed the luxury of spacious and beautiful rooms. We got lovely chocolates and even a box of chocolate biscuits....

After several months on the road we felt like staying somewhere where everything would be taken care of. This Sofitel had some great online deals, so we gave it a go - and overall were glad. The hotel itself is fabulous; modern, comfortable, classy. The fitness/wellness centre was very pleasant. Breakfast was lovely. The front desk service was impeccable; we...

It's so easy to stay at this hotel. The staff is nice, the place if well managed but not pretentious. The breakfast was awesome although not cheap (EUR 30). The bed and pillows were confortable and the sound proof ideal. Great value for money (l've paid EUR200). Piece of advice : call ahead to reserve a taxi, there is none...

This truly is a great Sofitel hotel and in its category deserves at least 4-5 stars. I have rated it 4 as its location is too far from the centre (2 miles or so) and hotel parking is too expensive at 35 euros a night. Otherwise, this hotel looks brand new & clean and is very nicely designed, well managed...

My experience with the hotel started the day before our arrival when i received a phone call from the hotel to provide us with advice how to get to the hotel from the airport. Upon...

I have stayed in more than ten 4-5* hotels in Brussels. This is definitely one of the best. The location on Place Jourdan offers a choice of nice restaurants for dinner. Some other hotels are better for public transportation, though. Room was large with a very nice and clean bathroom. Everything was modern and nice. Very good breakfast.
