Could do with some major updating (or at least a fresh coat of paint). This is really an annex to the Hotel Arlequin which is about 100 metres away - and where you check in and out. Rooms are ok but fairly basic and my bathroom, while quite spacious (bath and separate shower) was quite dingy with mould on the...

This hotel is centrally located( a few steps off the Grand Place) and near many good eateries and shops. We would have been very happy with our choice except that the room was poorly kept. Our room was on 4th floor(top flr) and had old world character with the exposed wood beams. The bed could have benefited from a fresh...

Expensive for what it is. First of all you check in in another hotel/another street. there is no reception. Room are very big and very spacious. Great location. Bathroom was dirty/paint peeling off..etc for 130 pounds a night...that's pushing it... 2 bars in the same street, le cercueil(the coffin) where you can drink beers in a cave...on coffins. Great Barman...

Staying here was not a good experience. Room was dark and dingy. Window looked out on an air shaft. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and an electric outlet was falling out of the wall. The lighting was so dim that you could not read and the lamp shades were burned by the light bulbs. There...

An excellent location right in the heart of the city - the Grote Markt is a mere twenty paces away. Aside being so near to what is, for us, the most beautiful city square in Europe, it's ideally situated if your main reason for the trip is to go to a performance at the opera house (La Monnaie/De Munt). We...

This place is okay those who want to be RIGHT in the heart of central Brussels, don't want to break the bank. It's quite decrepit, and has clearly changed ownership recently - the check-in desk is in another hotel a 2-3 minute walk away, confusingly. Hopefully they'll replace the second-hand fixtures and fittings and spruce the rooms up to an...

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. We went late July and this hotel is not air-conditioned at all. Overall in Brussels, there are not many restaurants that are air-conditioned, but many hotels do have it. Floris Grand Place did not. We were forced to open the windows (without screens!) at all times, including nights when the bar next...

Very central location, just off Grand Place, but this means it's noisy. As the hotel was almost empty, we were upgarded to the suite - in effect a very large bedroom with extra kingsize bed, lots of storage, but limited natural light. Huge bathroom with sep shower and bath, WC, twin wash hand basins - bits of mould by shower....

We stayed for two nights at the Floris Grand Place and found it to be a very nice place. The rooms are big enough for two people to manage effectively (although there may be too much furniture in them) and they were reasonably clean. The carpet looked relatively new and the bathroom had been updated recently (the shower stall is...

after seeing other reviews on this hotel I decided to book a quite room, non-smoking please. I ended up in a smoker room, it was very loud, there was a concert going on, or the music was from a discotheque in the street so I could not sleep until 2 a.m. The breakfast was o.k., self service, everything plenty. The...
