When searching for hotels for a 3 night stay in Brussels, my priority was that it be within walking distance from the Gare Midi train station. Once I'd narrowed that down, I looked at price and aesthetics, and found Hotel Galia. Excellent price for a double room, with breakfast included, I think you'd be very hard pressed to find something...

this is a great budget hotel its perfect for the flea market right outside the front door, it means you could get out of bed in your pyjamas pull on a coat and mooch round the market at 6.00am for the bargains ,and then go back to sleep and for breakfast, which is buffet style with good variety and great...

Don't be put off by the surroundings. on the face of it, I was wary of the location. It didnt look good from the outside. However, as soon as I stepped off the threshold, i was very pleased. Very nice staff. Room was clean, big enough for 4 and so quiet. Breakfast the next morning was lovely too. Very impressed....

The place is nice and comfy enough for the prices they offer. There is a club near the hotel and some night we could hear the noise from it, but if you don't have a problem with noises, the place is fine.

I booked the room at Hotel Galia and sent them my request for the particular type of room - they didnt reply. I am trying to call them - no answer! No one is attending to the clients e-mails and phone calls!

Went there for a couple of nights and stay in a shared 6 beds room. The room was quite warm even though the weather was freezing, beds are ok to sleep but a little bit to tight to have 6 beds, to get to the higher beds you need a stair which is not so safe and staying in those...

The hotel is small and old but the service is very good. I stayed in a double room, which had perfect size for us with bathroom in the room and view to the square. Every day there was a market in the square so the area its full of people all day long. The location is good, close to a...

We were not at all happy with the room, room was very small and did not look like it was cleant for ages. The wifi was horrible and inconsistent. On a positive note, the hotel was close to the center and we loved and enjoyed the breakfast a lot.

Stayed for 2 nights in a "Superior Twin Room" with Private Bathroom. We were quite disappointed with our room as we couldn't see what was "Superior" about it, we walked past quite a few other twin rooms with doors open on our level and other levels below, all looked a lot better than the one we had. Our bathroom was...

For us the location was perfect for exploring the retro heaven that is the Marolles area. Walking to Grand Place takes about 15 / 20 minutes but do be careful that you follow the right route. A taxi here was only about €7. The staff at the hotel are very friendly indeed and the breakfast is surprisingly good, served in...
