My partner and I stayed at the Grande Cloche for three nights in mid-March. I wasn't a huge fan of Brussels, but the location of the Grande Cloche made for a great starting place to explore from. Our room was basic but clean, with a huge bathroom and was great value for the price we paid (around 76 Euro). Check-in/check...

I don't want to be the first one to rubbish La Grande Cloche but I have to say it wasn't that brilliant. What I will say is that a hotel is exceptionally middle rate, neither terrible nor brilliant. We didn't have a great stay at the hotel although this was largely to do with the loud people we had staying...

Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. All staff we encountered spoke English. Breakfast was typical European and supposed to last until 10 am, but they would start putting it up around 9:30. Had to get there early to have full selection. Advertises free parking on square, but we did not see a few spot the entire time. We...

I will start with saying that I have probably reviewed 20 hotels, and this is only my second 3* or lower rating. Arrived at the hotel for a one night stay (late arrival) on a Tuesday night. Had made a reservation for a double with shower only en suite, and had informed the staff of my late arrival. I was...

I stayed at the Grand Cloche for 3 nights in February 2007 with my wife and 9 year old daughter. It was our first time in Brussels, and we chose the hotel largely because of the reviews here on Trip Tdviser. The reviews praising the hotel were totally accurate. The hotel is an absolute gem. We paid 90 EURO per...

I can only reiterate what everyone else is saying ...... Great location, close to everything that you would want. Great price, service, good breakfast etc. The only negative I would probably say is that the room was quite dark - we were upgraded (no complaints there !) to larger rooms which faced into a central (very small) courtyard. We were...

The hotel is conveniently located on a quaint square (Place Rouppe) about a 5 minute walk from the Grande Place. The 2-star rating simply does not do this hotel justice. I checked in around 11:30 on a Sunday night and the man behind the counter was delightful. He was waiting for me since he referred to me by name when...

I chose this hotel as it was ranked #9 and was under $99 and I came to Brussels to eat. I could walk to 2 of my 3 restaurant reservations. A combination not to ignored. I was totally pleased with it's location...a 7 minute walk to the Grand Place. Rue Dansaert only 10 or 15 mins. a $10 taxi ride...

After having stayed at the Grande Cloche in March (see my review of 03/21/06), we returned to Brussels for a short pre-Xmas shopping spree. I must say that our room was not quite as nice as the one we had in March but still very adequate and clean. It is good to see that the Grande Cloche has been able...

Myself,my wife and teenage daughter stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October. Our triple room was en suite was fine, spotlessly clean and overlooked Place Rouppe. In fact, the bathroom was enormous and was bigger than the bedroom.Handy when you have two women in tow. It's about 5/10 mins from Grand Place and is ideally located. As previous interviewers indicated, you...
