My room has a staircase up to my bed, how cool is that? Lovely to have a bit of character instead of a chain hotel which could be anywhere in the world. Wooden floor, table lamps, stairs, just about perfect. Only niggle is the usual one - not enough power sockets but that's me being picky. It's wonderful, do it.

If you're looking to be treated like belgian royalty, look no further! As a director for House Hunters International, my demands are many when I'm on the road for work - which is 2 weeks per month. We used The Stanhope as ground zero for our production and the hotel was so accommodating for shooting and staying purposes. From the...

Good location. Cosy traditional rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly service. Nothing really to complain about - but a bit spoilt by boutique hotel experience elsewhere. One thing I keep missing far to often is the proper shower. Bathtubs keep taking the space..

This hotel is very convenient to where I do business. The staff are welcoming. The rooms are well appointed and all seem different- very refreshing in an era of uniformity. Breakfast was fine. This time my rookm was particularly good, quiet and looking out to the courtyard. I am a critical hotel guest but had nothing whatever to find fault...

Stayed there for a conference that was held in the hotel. I was in a small suite that was very well appointed and comfortable. Especially like the Nespresso machine in the room so I can have my morning coffee without calling room service or leaving the room. Breakfast in the restaurant was included in price of the room and it...

Arrived late on Sunday, in preparation for a meeting next day. Venue is ideal for anything linked to the EU. Room was a good size and had everything you expect, even a trouser press. Ordered a pizza and glass of wine on room service. It turned up but the pizza was cold, i.e. just recently defrosted, in the middle ....

Stayed for three nights at this hotel on a recent business trip which included meetings in the hotel's conference suite. Couldn't find any fault whatsoever. The staff are friendly and attentive and will assist in any way they can. The reception area and rooms are spotless and the attention to detail is wonderful, from Belgian chocolates on the reception desk...

Normally when in Brussels I stay at the Hilton Grand Place which I find convenient to the train station and the tourist zone. This time i chose the Stanhope to be a little closer to my business appointments. It is certainly much more posh than the Hilton and the district is busy with lots of good restaurant options. It is...

Stanhope is a perfect hotel for Brussels' business trip, well located near to the EU Institutions. Staff is very efficient, kind and available. You can also organize there meetings, such as breakfast meetings, working lunches, cocktails and dinners, they are very well equipped for that and staff is well trained to manage such events.

Stayed for a one-night business trip on a Sunday. Hotel quiet, but I was still allocated the small single room I'd booked. Can't complain, but an opportunity to make me feel warm about the hotel was missed. Pleasant front desk staff. Small room means small! Tetris-style planning needed to move around and 'traditional' decor, normal for the Stahope made such...
