B&B taptoe is in a quiet side street yet only a minutes walk to Grand Place or the "manequin pis" (it is on the same Street! ). So the life of Brussels is very close by. We were presented with fresh bread, meat and Cheese daily as well as cereals, preserves, eggs, and yoghurt for breakfast. All in all it...

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the B&B Taptoe. We are a family of four and stayed in two rooms on the second floor. The Taptoe exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were situated on a private floor with only three total rooms. This made our floor semi-private. (The street level door was locked, the floor...

We were very pleased with our stay at B&B Taptoe. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was also spacious, but we had a “fun” time trying to take a shower as the handicap shower head was mounted at a height of 3 feet/ 1 meter without a curtain. The apartment was on the third floor with no...

We were in Taptoe 1, above the gallery, in the owners' quarters. The room (or rather the appartment) was wonderful and the service and friendliness were unique. We felt at home away from home, with Manneken Pis as our neighbour. Central yet quiet, cosy and homely, great value for money. Much better than any hotel around at equivalent price. Highly...

My husband has to travel on business to Brussels occasionally and I accompany him at every opportunity. We usually stay at a different hotel/B&B every time, but not anymore. We plan to return to Taptoe II as often as we can. We stayed in the Bolero room 4-9 Nov. 2014. The room is comfortable, spacious, and bright, with lots of...

I booked this B and B for my husband, and when a friend decided to join us in Brussels, he booked a room here, too. We enjoyed it very much. Daniel and Catherine are wonderful hosts, and they are very responsive to any questions, issues, etc. My husband and I had, I believe, the "Bolero" room, which is very large...

The location for B&B Taptoe is excellent. It's a 10 minute walk from the central train station, just down the street from Mannekin-Pis and very close to Grand Place. It's between Grand Place and the tourist sites up on the hill (Palace, museums, Notre Dame du Sablon) so you can walk back to the B&B from those sites also. The...

We recently stayed in the Madame Butterfly Room in the Annex and could not have been more pleased. The room is quite large by hotel or B&B standards, has a nice closet and drawers and shelves. It is nicely decorated and the bed is comfortable. The room has nice large windows and high ceilings. The ensuite bathroom is also quite...

Two nights here - absolutely wonderful! Would we go again...you bet! We were greeted with charm and friendliness by Daniel and Catherine and the apartment (and breakfast) was all one could hope for. Lively area of Brussels - everything within walking distance.

We have just returned from Brussels and this accommodation. The three of us were placed in the "madame butterfly" room in the annex. This is a large room, with an extra large en suite, with all the facilities required for a relaxing stay. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was fresh each day continental style. All in all...
