Hotel was amazing, staff very friendly and rooms clean and pretty. Only downside was that the bathroom door squeaked which woke me up whenever my girlfriend used the bathroom at night. Also the walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors quite well. The area is alright, there’s a metro station right at the street of the hotel which brings you anywhere you need to go. Warning for kids though, there are quite a few sex shops nearby.

We really love the place. Located near the train station is cool but premises are superb. Breakfast is perfect. People working there were very helpful. Really recommended to anyone going to Brussels. Top

stayed here couple nights on recent city break to brussels have stayed here a couple of times but havent stayed here in 15 years or so but the quality has been retained and the weekend stay was a real pleasurable experience check in was friendy and prompt room was large and well appointed...bed was seriously comfortable and room temperature was perfect bathroom was bright and spacious with decent shower tv had 80 or so channels and quite a few english speaking ones( bbc1 and bbc2 ) for example location is spot on...10/15 min walk to grand place and a nice few bar /restaurant options nearby didnt opt for the breakfast package as it really didnt seem value for money but as i said plenty options nearby so no big deal only downside was that we couldnt have a beer in the bar on the saturday night, they ushered us out and told us there was a private function on...it was 10pm and there was literally no one there ? that aside the stay was super enjoyable and i'd like to think i will get back to the plaza hotel again soon

I very much enjoyed Hotel Le Plaza. I came to Brussels for some Eur Comm work, so the location was very good, the breakfast delicious with lots of food choices. The bar in the evening is very nice, with tables as well as bar stools, and I did some emails and work one evening while enjoying a glass of wine. The staff are excellent. I will return for work again in June and I plan to stay there again!

We had a junior suite with city view booked. Room was quite nice and very clean. Sadly the view was awful , top of the second floor building frontage which wasn’t what I was going for on our romantic break. Complained but no rooms available with a city view despite the fact we paid for it. Taken a photo in case it is disputed

Stayed from 6th to 8th March 2024 for my Missus' 30th birthday. Negatives: Substantial roadworks outside the hotel. However these can't be heard inside. Area is full of sex workers and homeless beggars who will shake their change pot in your face. Not a great experience for the missus but sipping a brew in the nearby Cafes and watching the Johns approach the ladies was entertaining for her. A main reason I booked this hotel was because it looked really Belgian, the sort of place you'd have expected to bump into Poirot. However the bar/ restaurant area was out of bounds due to it being fully booked by some kind of business trip. If I had known this, i would have booked somewhere else. Recommend checking. Positives: The staff were really helpful The decor was very "Belgian" The hotel and rooms were very clean. The room came with a dressing gown that the missus loved. The hotel is spitting distance from the Rogier metro station.

Second stay, still great This is my second stay at this elegant hotel. Was just as good. The hotel is old and old fashioned but in a charming way and gives the best of the old style. It is spacious and very clean, the breakfast is excellent, the bar is a little pricey but the drinks and service were excellent. And to top the icing- the location cannot be beaten.

We have just returned from a disappointing stay at what is a beautiful hotel in Brussels. We booked it to celebrate our 25th anniversary but on arrival notice the ENTIRE road at the front of the hotel, including the pavements, was under major construction work. When we arrived at reception a guest was complaining about a cleaning issue in his room and how he wanted to be moved. We dumped our bags and headed out to explore the city via a walling tour which was excellent. We came in from dinner at around 10 p.m. and noticed dry blood on our bathroom floor and also under the sink. We were tired and just went to bed. We were awoken at 7 a.m. by angle grinders, mechanical diggers and lorries tooting their horns directly out the front of the hotel. 7 a.m. !! I contacted the hotel to say this was unacceptable and they said there was a note on the website about it. I said, once I've booked a hotel, I don't study the website for updates on building work. I would expect the hotel to inform guests if there might be any disruption. For the hotel to suggest it was my responsibility and not theirs is offensive and adding insult to injury. When I spoke to them about the dried blood they were apologetic and said I should have come to reception at 10.30 at night to discuss it. Once again I shouldn't have to do that should I? Why not clean it properly in the first place so I don't have to come to reception when I fully intended to be in bed. We will not recommend the hotel nor the management's handling of our issues. We feel as though, had the hotel informed guests there was major construction work immediately in front of the hotel, people such as us may choose to book elsewhere and thats why they chose not to inform us or other guests. That's very sneaky and underhand. We expect better standards from large established hotels.

Location (yes location unlike other reviews), street full of construction and apparently has been for awhile. No cafes or food places aside from KFC and McDonalds nearby but plenty of sex shops, it is at least 15 min walk to the centre. Secondly I find it unbelievable the hotel charges 29 Euros per person for a way below average breakfast buffet (maybe because they know there are no cafes nearby).

Hotel Le Plaza was a very pleasant surprise starting with the cost-benefit. Classic, beautiful, and well located. Rooms are of good size and so is the bathroom. In-room tea and coffee facilities, complementary mineral water. Don't miss the chance to have a drink at the bar on the ground floor! All the staff are very polite and helpful, no exceptions!
