Bed was good and it was reasonably clean. Stuff was helping. The bad part: You have to climb dozens of stair steps, because their is no elevator, and the "Free Parking" is an open public parking lot. General area is noisy and not touristic.

I was very pleased with the room and the very friendly staff here. I had an early plane to catch so this hotel was ideal being so close to the station. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and very clean. The hotel is on a busy road, but the double glazing was very effective in keeping the...

This is the kind of hotel you choose when you are in a hurry or just to stay close to the train station. The hotel is situated in a medina quarter or a casbah. The noise at night is really challenging. For me this was once and never again. I think Brussels has a lot of hotels that I would...

The hotel was convenient for the station, easy to find and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor even if you pay a supplement. Staff in breakfast room were fine. Very limited choice of food though. No lift might be a problem for older people.

I stayed here in June 2015 for three nights, with two friends. The room although a little outdated, was clean and was changed daily and the hotel is close to the station, but that's all I can say... After arriving at the train station, I could tell the area was seedy, and couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. The...

First up, I'd have to say that first impressions were not good. the area 9at the back of the railway station, never a good sign) is pretty run down, then on entry into the hotel, the receptionist spoke very little English and struggled with my booking. Fortunately, I speak some french and we got by. However, once in the room,...

+ Handy for the station. Friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable bed. - Nothing to do with the hotel but the general area around there is a little shabby and not very salubrious - that said I didn't feel uncomfortable.

I booked this for the same reason as most people do due to its close proximity to Brussels Midi station. The hotel in general was a little tired and worn, as was the furniture in my room. It was basic but had a private toilet/bathroom. Some traffic noise outside but the room was clean and the bed reasonable. There are...

we used Brussels as a base for travelling around by train and therefore opted for this hotel. I found about about the lack of a lift only after making the booking for 2 triple rooms (by reading reviews). When I wrote the hotel, asking for rooms on ground floor, I got a response saying that the triple rooms were on...

“There is no lift - if stairs are an issue, ask for a room on a lower floor. This area of the city is noisy with trains & cars, but the windows were very efficient at keeping that noise out.”
